Perfect winter get away! Lovely cottage and surrounds. Couldn't have asked for more. Carol was wonderful! We arrived at night and were very grateful to find the cottage was warm and the fireplace was set up ready to go. Location was great, only 2 hours drive and everyone in the town was so welcoming. Rydal cottage was a delight. Clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed an open fire of an evening with plenty of firewood provided. The grounds were picturesque and fenced to be pet friendly. The communication from the host was appropriate and informative. We highly recommend the cottage and host, and look forward to future visits.

We had an amazing experience at Rydal Cottage. The cottage was perfect, the grounds superb and the features amazing, Carol has thought of everything. Our dog was immediately at home in the extensive garden and preferred to be out exploring than inside - that was of course until we lit the fire and then he was on his rug hugging the heat! Will definately be back, thanks Carol!

We booked for my daughter wedding. It was close to the venue and our fur babies were welcome. They loved the large area we had. The cottage was very clean and it was very interesting seeing the photos from the original cottage to what it has been created into. I would recommend this rental
