We had booked to stay for 2 nights, myself, my husband and our 2 boys aged 2 years and 2 months.
Our room consisted of a double bed and a sofa bed. Neither of which appropriate for a 2 month old baby - a cot should have been provided. However, the room was that small, there wasn’t any room for a cot. The only place my 2 year old could play was under the pull out bed which is completely dangerous but he wasn’t left with much of a choice.
The room itself was disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The windows were covered in cobwebs on both the inside and the outside. The curtain had a brown stain on it, the ceiling was covered in damp that had been painted over and all the lampshades were stained. How do you expect anyone to stay in this room never mind 2 small children.
The base of the double bed was ripped and falling apart and the pull out bed was cheap and you could feel the metal frame when laid on it.
There was a floor lamp that stood on a tilt as it was broken and if knocked it would have just fallen over potentially landing on small children.
The staff were very accommodating however and arranged a transfer to a different hotel.
