The property owner did a great job redecorating the cabin, putting in nice appliances, furniture, etc. However, whoever takes care of the property and cleans it did a terrible job, which greatly detracted from our experience. The hot tub was dirty, the oven was so greasy, we had to clean it before using it, the front porch area had not been touched in months, the television in one of the rooms was not functioning, and, the reclining club chair was completely broken and had been propped up against a wall. In addition, some extremely strong cleaner was used on the wood table in the kitchen and reeked the whole time we were there (it had soaked into the wood)…We couldn’t put anything on it, let alone eat on it. The property owners responded quickly to our communication, but, it would’ve taken way too long for their “team” to take care of all these issues, and I highly doubt the chair and table could’ve been resolved during our stay. If anyone is interested in renting one of their properties, I would recommend confirming the condition of it prior to arriving.
