Only one elevator worked for the entire 7 story hotel. No coffee in the reception area. We ordered a premium room with an ocean view. Our coffee pot did not work in our room. The ocean view was beautiful. Smoker below consumed a great deal of marijuana on the first night so we could not open the balcony door.

Disappointing

We’ll start with the good- it’s in a great location with easy beach access. That being said, hotel condition and cleanliness left a fair bit to be desired. Only one working elevator the five days we were there, lots of dingy carpet, broken trim pieces by doors, water issues that have been painted over, etc. There were staff who were super helpful and kind (breakfast guy especially), but we also had extremely unhelpful and even snarky front desk staff who had confirmed on the phone that we had requested adjoining rooms for our family. I was told that rooms with those requests get assigned first, so they were confident they would be able to deal with the request even though it wasn’t guaranteed. Fast forward to our arrival, and they had given the adjoining room away already (even though we arrived just before check in time), and said we were stuck with whatever was left. That was pretty disappointing, but the cherry on top was the shoulder shrug, half smile that reeked of snarkiness as it was said “Oh well, what are you going to do? It’s not guaranteed…”. Moving past that, other thoughts- A/C worked great in one room, but minimally in another. Breakfast was OK, and kept well stocked. Biggest other concern was the folks smoking on their balconies near the pool, and not always cigarettes… So in the end, we had our beach trip. It was fun, but the hotel didn’t really add to our enjoyment basically at all. We were hoping for better than that based on prior reviews. Disappointing

Room were aged and unclean. Tub drains were filthy. Only 1 of 2 elevators worked. It was a nightmare to wait with little children to go to the rooms. Only stayed the 1st night because we had no other choice. Checked out the very next morning.

We love the fact that everyting was in walking distance that we needed. The location was perfect. The property is somewhat dated but we were pleased with the cleanliness of the property and I would definitely book there again.

Would not recommend, very dirty. Some staff do not want to be there and you can tell by the attitude. We had problems checking in and before we had all our stuff out of the rooms for check out staff was already in there cleaning things. Breakfast wasn’t great and things were just not clean, things were broken and not very well taken care of.

Room wasn’t clean, because I booked through Expedia manager try to force a pet friendly room she stated it was in fine print, until we showed another manager our email. Elevator broke for over a year. Housekeeping came in once for the whole week. Room was not ready at check in time.

Not worth the money

One elevator was not working and was the same one down over 3 years ago. Which caused problems with all guests including my handicapped parents who can only use an elevator. Room was dirty, still had hair on the shower wall from previous guest. Ac barely cooled the room. Breakfast was good but equal to other hotels. Employees are nice and does have a great view but is not worth the very expensive price. At those prices i The elevator and renovating should of been fine.

Nice 4 night getaway

Our room was on the same floor as the pool and deck with the pool right outside our window. Needless to say, our curtains were never open. But it was still pretty quiet and it was nice having the exit to the deck and also the breakfast room right beside our room. There were some troubling issues with a stranger somehow having a key to our room shortly after we checked in that wasn’t dealt with by the management to my liking. Their attitude was basically they didn’t know how that happened but it won’t happen again, instead of really figuring out how that happened and where and who was the person with the key.
