The house is one of a kind, truly the cherry on top of our adventures on Roatán. The design of the home is spectacular, but it’s tons of little touches like the plant cutting arrangements or perfect art and furniture that add even more to it. The views off of every room and balcony are spectacular even in the rain, but the stars on a clear night in the tower are breath taking.You really are in nature, there is the cutest little family of Agouti hanging out under the porch that our whole family, especially the kids had a great time trying to find and watch. Cool geckos and other lizards we didn’t see anywhere else (and we want from one end of the islands to the other by both car and boat). The pool was perfect for our recharge day, but I think the house does a perfect job of fitting in with the spirit of Roatan.I do recommend renting a 4 wheel drive or at least an SUV/Truck vehicle because the road to get to the house is muddy when it rains and has plenty of interesting bumps and turns and some decent hill climbs to get in and out but we really got a kick out of that, and it’s the same when you are trying to get out to east bay anyway. Ken the driver was also amazing when a few of us took the car out to go on a fishing day with Perry (local fly fishing expert) and the rest of the family learned about the island and the people with Ken while visiting west end.Overall definitely recommended for a memorable island adventure with a large group, kids and adults alike.
