Lovely hotel and restaurant in Masham. Very good menu and tasty meals breakfast through to dinner. Close to Ripon but also nice walks around Masham and an interesting church too.

A warm welcome at the Kings Head Masham

We had a lovely time staying at The Kings Head in Masham. It was a very welcoming place to stay. Both the breakfast and dinner menus were plentiful with great choices to choose from. We stayed in a large outside room that had king size bed which was very comfortable. The bathroom had a bath with a shower.

Large group booking over weekend

We were a large group staying at Kings Head at weekend. Customer service was excellent. Service at meal times was excellent - team managed to get 19 main courses out at the same time. Would Def stay again if in Masham

Boys Walking Break.

My friends and I had a great three nights at the King's Head. The accommodation was good with a sizable and clean room. The breakfast was great with a lot of variety. We ate in the restaurant twice during our stay and the menu was varied and quality was good. The hotel bar serves a wide selection of spirits and wine and the beer from the two local breweries was excellent.

We’ve stayed here several times in the last few years as it’s a great base. The room was good, quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly however they were met with difficult conditions. As one of the only places to eat in the village the hotel had run out of over half of the menu. This caused a few issues for many of the guests as it wasn’t communicated until you tried to order. On check out day we discovered that the lock mechanism on our door was faulty and we were unfortunately locked into the room. The phone number provided wasn’t manned so we were left with trying to get someone’s attention by banging on a window (which also wouldn’t open) Finally someone came and managed to get the door open. Once downstairs there were no staff to speak to other than a waitress in the restaurant area. In all a bit of a disappointing few days stay at the hotel.
