The Retreat is a spacious yet cosy space that offers a wonderful open plan living space the open to the luxury kitchen, so it’s the perfect space to relax with a takeaway or rustle up a romantic meal for 2. The large bedroom offers a super comfy kingsize bed, Smart TV and luxury en-suite with large walk-in shower. Outside, the private enclosed garden provides the perfect space for a couple of drinks, a spot of alfresco dining or jumping into your own private hot tub. The lodge is such a wonderful place to be you may choose not to venture far- just relax and enjoy quality time with a loved one. But if you do wish to explore this wonderful location a visit to The New Forest with its free roaming horses, cattle and donkeys and an abundance of unique villages and pubs throughout is a must.

Moors Valley is fantastic for walking and cycling and you can even book an experience at Go Ape to climb among the treetops. Head to the New Forest Water Park with its variety of water sports including wakeboarding and a giant inflatable obstacle course on the water which makes for a fantastic summer’s day out. The beaches of Southbourne and Avon Beach are within a half hour drive and offer wonderful coastal view and some great laces to stop for a bite to eat! Other nearby days out include Beaulieu Motor Museum, Liberty’s Owl and Reptile Centre, Dorset Heavy Horse Farm, Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary, or head to the ferry and visit the Isle of Wight for a day trip!

If you are bringing a dog with you then please keep them off the soft furnishings at all times. Please keep them on a lead when outside the front of the lodge as the electric gates are in frequent use and there will be no protection from the road when they are open for your animals. There is a dog waste bin in the courtyard. Please ensure all mess is bagged and binned before departure.
