The location is fantastic, right on the beach! However I would not recommend this hotel for a quiet vacation - the bar and restaurant play loud music all day and though the hotel says they have quiet hours after 10pm, there was loud music playing until 11pm every night, and some nights to 3am. We also had issues with our room - we booked an upgraded room and were placed in a very small room right next to the bar with no window. Other guests in our group booked lower priced rooms that were larger, quieter, and with outdoor areas. The staff apologized but didn't do anything to address the error.

Caribbean Paradise

Absolute paradise! Wonderful for a couples retreat. Friendly staff, from the security guard to the office staff, to the bartenders and waitstaff. Beach access at your doorstep. Can’t wait to return.

Tamboo a well recomended place!

Staying here was lovely and convenient. Unfortunately our room shared a wall with the kitchen so there was a lot of noise from that. Also noise from local bars with non-local music wasn't ideal but that's out of their control. Otherwise it was enjoyable!

Enjoyed our stay

Great location, right on the beach. Nice room, pool right outside the door and restaurant/bar on the property (lunch and dinner several days per week.) well-equipped room, but a little disappointed that no beach chairs or umbrellas were provided or even available from the hotel. We were able to rent two chairs and an umbrella from a service a short distance down the street, but that added $25 per day. Also, the hotel WiFi needs work; it is spotty, depending on the time of day and where you’re located. On the whole, we were happy with our stay and would return, but a few little improvements would make it great.
