Needs to disclose that a bar is next door with live music most nights until 12am. If you are an early sleeper, this may not be the ideal place to stay. Location is excellent as it’s very close to the beach.

Jonathan, We appreciate getting your feedback for sure, but the bar next door only has live music on Mondays. Last call is 11:30-11:45pm, the music is usually off by then, and we are closed (everyone is out) by midnight. Again, we appreciate your feedback, but wanted to clarify our operations.

Modern and super clean. Walking distance to great restaurants and beach. Hotel bar is excellent. Bed is very comfortable.

I enjoyed everything, very polite and interpersonal staff that were very knowledgeable and understanding.They kept this place very clean and comfortable, and gave me a great deal of information to peak my interest! Love it!

The hotel and bar went very well together. Right across the street from one of the best beaches on the west coast (I’ve been to 7 different beaches). Only a 5-10 minute drive to town but there’s plenty to do within walking distance. Overall loved the hotel and the surrounding area.

The food at Sandy Beach Cafe was excellent. The location was perfect, close to everything. The night life at Kahuna Bar was awesome. The only thing that for me has to improve is that the mayority of the staff speaks only english and being on Puerto Rico it should be spanish and english, for me it was not a problem, but for people like my wife that dosen't speak english it is.

Hotel needs modern tech updates

Pros: proximity to beach and nightlife
Cons: Modern tech updates (WIFI in all rooms) door closers that don't slam the doors all night. change outside tile to something with some grip when wet
Room 101 should be relegated to a storage closet, there were no windows and the door opened just 5 feet from were the band sets up for a 1100 pm start(luckily they didn't suck). Staff didn't answer the phone or return calls on multiple occasions, too busy socializing. The reviews said they had WIFI but failed to state you had to go to bar or common area. Routers are now inexpensive enough to put one in each room.Pool was nice but small and needed attention. Tile outside was of the glossy type and became seriously slippery and hazardous when wet.

Noise is a big issue

Pros: Close to beach. Supplied beach towels and chairs. Staff were friendly and courteous.
Cons: Rooms no soundproofing of any kind. Every outside noise can be heard.
Location: The location without the noisy bar would be good.
The first night blasting music from the bar attached to the second part of property was awful . It did not end until 1a.m. The next 2 nights were a little better. I did complain at reception after the first night. Generally every outside noise can be heard in the room.

Nice, clean hotel close to west coast surf spots

Pros: Clean and convenient
Cons: Add hot breakfast and start it earlier.
Location: Surf HQ for PR!
Just slept there, but it was nice. Clean, quiet and appeared newly renovated. The continental breakfast didn't start until 8:00am so didn't get to try that (left pretty early each day). Staff was great.
