Excellent hotel. Such great room. Lovely staff and perfect location. Old paving stones and several bars 50 meters away could make your night sleepless. I was prepared and had my earplugs ready. Hotel could place some in the room, that would be very handy.

Brilliant stay very close to the old town!

I checked in to find my original room hadn’t been cleaned by housekeeping. I went downstairs to inform the lady at check in and she apologised profusely and said she would upgrade me to a superior room. I was really pleased about this as I would have been happy with my original room just being cleaned by housekeeping. The lady at the front desk was fantastic and went above and beyond to help me. My superior room was absolutely gorgeous and completely spotless. I had a coffee making machine, super soft and comfortable bed and a glorious view of the park across the street. My room was amazing!! The breakfast was wonderful and really delicious. The staff were really polite, friendly and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

Good stay,very good and helpful staff members. Room was nice and comfortable however shower was old and not the best and room was super cold doesn’t matter if I put a heating up to 30 degrees and slept next to the radiator still didn’t help. The view was a wall.

Nice hotel a couple of minutes by foot to main attractions in Old Town. Tha staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Room had an odd shape, which I didn't find very convenient because it felt narrow and awkward. Also, the windows are not sealed and I got a cold because of cold air current coming in. Otherwise, very nice stay.

For the price this was a good hotel and the breakfast was excellent. If you’re not on a budget I would stay at the other Radisson (blu) as that was more fabulous with a roof top bar. That being said, this hotel is in an amazing location for old town Riga, walking tours, museums and the Christmas markets. The Christmas markets were possibly the best I have seen, and everything is within walking distance. Latvia is a very safe country! Most people speak very good English, is a major plus to which I am grateful for. There was a mix up as I had asked for a room with two single beds, and Expedia confirmed this (2 friends sharing a room), however, I was told at the hotel this could never be guaranteed. Good job we are good friends : )

Nice clean hotel, staff were very helpful and breakfast was great good variety and plentiful. We had a road facing room which was a little noisey at night from the trams but other that could not really fault the hotel

Comfortable hotel in an ideal location

The hotel couldn’t be better located for exploring Riga old town. Our room overlooked the lovely Bastejkalna park, where you can pick up boat trips or enjoy a cold drink in one of the cafes. The trams run right in front of the hotel and can be loud so light sleepers would be better to ask for a room to the rear. Staff were welcoming and helpful and we really enjoyed the breakfast, though there are many alternative places close by too. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar but it did shut a bit early at 10pm. Shout out to the young bar man who spoke impeccable English and even understood our Scottish accents with no trouble at all. All in all, a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Brilliant location and super friendly staff. Everyone we met was great, rooms clean and comfortable. Went for a drink in the bar but seemed closed despite advertising “happy hour”.
