A lovely little break

Stayed at burrow view for a weekend in February with our 2 girls. Absolutely loved it, great location to the village and shops, gorgeous scenery and the girls loved seeing the baby goats. Would recommend.

Had a lovely stay in Burrow View. Beautiful scenery, lot's to do locally, kids had a great time in the hot tub, would recommend. My only feedback would be to have something that tells you about the accommodation and site in the property. Eg how to heat the property and where the bin store is.

Hot tub heaven

A perfect stay in the gorgeous Welsh countryside.. the hut was really well appointed. Hot tubing with stunning views was the perfect end to days of sightseeing & walking.. was nervous the hut would be cold as we stayed mid December but the heating system was fabulous.. my only negative comment is no rail to hang clothes and no shelving to store bathroom products, however these are very minor issues..

Amazing couple of peaceful days, definitely recommend you to anyone, only thing I can say is please provide plastic tumblers for when people go in hot tub I forgot to take mine . Will definitely go again

A wonderfully relaxing stay

Our family of 4 had a fantastic time staying here. Lots to do, friendly staff and neighbours and the views are amazing. Only slight downside was the light coming through the skylight early in the morning. I would bring a sleep mask next time.

Our little stay in the Hobbit House

The Burrow View was excellent. Was a really cool little place to stay. The location and views were breathtaking. The beds were super comfortable! The shower was also a highlight! In the summer I can imagine this place would be at its best. The children loved it too and were really disappointed to leave. With the Elan Valley a short drive away there is plenty to do. If I was to be a little harsh would say storage for our stuff was a little tight, however they’ve done well to maximise the comforts in the accommodation, so really not a big deal. As a suggestion maybe a little more lighting on site to help navigate if arriving at night and some signage to direct to the different locations but these were really small issues that didn’t cause any problems. Would definitely visit again!

What a smashing few days away

We had a great stay in the hobbit houses. The weather was great and the hot tub was excellent. The goats that roamed the site were such fun to watch especially when having a BBQ. We are already planing a return trip with friends See you soon Les

The Burrow View

Our recent stay at Burrow View in February was nothing short of exquisite. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and am already eager to rebook, this time bringing my family along. The property boasts tasteful decoration throughout, creating a truly inviting atmosphere. Guests will find a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for all culinary needs, and exceptionally comfortable beds ensuring a restful night's sleep. The outdoor space is a particular highlight, featuring an expansive dining area, a BBQ, a cosy fire pit, and a generously sized hot tub – perfect for relaxation. Beyond the accommodation, there's an abundance of activities to enjoy. We particularly loved exploring the Elan Valley with our dogs and discovering charming country pubs in the local town.

Great place to stay quiet with excellent views A short drive to town and the elan valley Perfect for walkers and cyclists or great for a relaxing break Very clean property and surroundings areas Plenty of space between pods to give you privacy Would highly recommend Will definitely book again

Short break

Lovely accommodation,easy to find,very clean,fab views- tasty eggs and lemon cake in honesty booth at entrance -cattle very quiet and lively Pygmy goats around - Red kites flying overhead - and nice weather made for a superb weekend - went to Red kites feeding nearby and tour of the dams was spectacular.

Lovely place for a weekend away!

Burrow View was the perfect place for a weekend away with my boyfriend! The place was easy to find and tucked away in a beautiful location, with many lovely walks only a short drive away. The area was incredibly peaceful which was great when enjoying ourselves outside in the hot tub. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family!

Amazing stay!

We had the most amazing stay. The property was spacious, lovely decor, comfortable bed, modern bathroom and everything you need for a relaxing stay. The views are stunning and it is so peaceful. Especially while sat in the hot tub. The extra hampers we ordered were a lovely touch (everything was so fresh) We will definitely be returning and recommend this property to anyone wanting a peaceful break.

Great few days away

Great few days away, clean and a great location. It stated on the email that we would be supplied with washing up liquid but we were not and the round sky light in the roof could do with a blind to stop the sun beaming down on you in the morning waking you up but apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our few days away

A perfect short break

Spent two nights here. It’s a lovely spot with commanding views. The accommodation was fine for two but would be a bit more challenging with 3 or 4. The cabin is modern and well presented but does lack any real storage for food (apart from fridge and freezer) and clothes. Overall, we were really impressed and would definitely return.
