thank you to Philip who was helpful and checked us in, as well all staff who were helpful and welcoming. nice little touches like games for kids to keep them entertained. Clean and comfortable rooms and nice breakfast.Location is slightly out of the centre compared to some others but actually ended up preferring this as it was more quieter and not too far away from the centre and some dining options nearby.

Room was comfortable. The staff was helpful in explaining how to get a taxi. Sonya was a whirlwind in the breakfast area to keep it stocked and clean. We were able to eat our carry out dinners in the breakfast area with plates, silverware, cups, etc.

I stayed 10/10-17/2025. this is a no-frills hotel, bathroom & bed were clean with in-shower toiletries. Conveniently located relatively close to city center (by car) and w/easy access to main highways. My room was rather small but had a small desk and built-in furniture to store/hang clothes & space for the suitcase. USB ports at night stand did not work and temperature settings in the radiator heater were hotter than necessary. I stayed in what appeared to be a renovated area, but not recently and it showed up on my room floor with sections peeling off when pieces of the floor material met. Front desk staff were always corteous & friendly, but not there before 8:00AM or after 8:00PM. Buffet is better quality than most hotels, the coffee machine makes a great capuccino! The breakfast area supervisor lady, was very nice and shared a bag of breakfast goodies for the road with small kids. Drawback is buffet starts at 7:00AM - late if you have to leave early since Iceland attractions are not in the city. Rented a car at the airport but it was not easy to park in front of hotel, so we ended up parking for free across the well-lit street, which felt very safe. Saw many guests picked up by multiple tour operator buses. Hotel has free access to laundry room in case clothes get wet or dirty, but bring soap & dryer sheets. If you need a clean place to spend the night when returning from daily sightseeing activities, this is the hotel for you. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed meeting other guest, if not for them, we would have been locked out of the facility upon arriving the first night. We did not get a welcome email with after hours check in instructions. No staff is on location past 21:00 local

My room with myself and 2 kids was very nice, however my friend stayed on the other side of the hotel which was much like a dormitory and very small and not like what my side offered. Either way, i enjoyed my stay. Breakfast is really good with so much variety. There was a lady there for breakfast and she is so kind, funny and thankful. The cleaning products they use to clean the room is a bit strong in fragrance but went away after a few days. The cigarette are should be moved farther away from the front entrance as all the smoke would blow into the lobby. Happy that there was a washer and dryer, however the dryer can take up to 2 hours to dry a medium load. It’s quite old and there’s only 1 set washer and dryer, so you have to get there quickly. Overall, I would come back. Thank you

Very noisy on my second night at Hotel Muli, constant banging and disruption from lorries being unloaded on what seemed like a regular basis right below my room even as late as 1.30am, I couldn't sleep and had to be up very early for my flight. Not acceptable and highly unfair considering the money it cost me to stay there.

Please avoid this hotel. Here is the break down Good: Rooms are modern and clean. Good: Breakfast was pretty good (although it is from 7-11 and once they are out of some items, they don't replace them later. This happened with eggs and salmon). So, go early. Bad: They claim free parking. This means a very small lot with only a few spaces or just park on the street. Plus, a delivery truck for the next property takes 3-4 precious spaces in the very FRONT of the hotel. I specifically chose this hotel for easy parking. HORRIBLE: This hotel is connected with a dishwashing company (probably for Ikea). This is very bad because they unload dishes overnight non a gravel parking lot. The workers are loud and there is a LOT of noise. And they worked all night Saturday and kept me up since 3am with their constant loading, carts, and yelling. NEVER AGAIN. Shame on Expedia for using this hotel.
