Perfect holiday

From the description over the check in to maintenance and very kind and friendly support from Sonia (our son really liked her for being so nice) ist was all in all a perfect getaway. Location is a bit off the hot spots whats making it perfect for full relaxation. Rental car is a must. Nice beaches around the area (mainly stone beaches) but we even took the way to the southern beaches of crete plenty of times (45 minutes to Skinaria Beach which was perfect for snorkling and family beach day with an 7 year old). Can definitely recommend and we will come again one day. House/pool etc. are exactly like the pictures. Many thanks again to Sonia and the owners. Family Fendt

Villa agréable

Villa très propre et convient pour une famille avec 2 enfants. La vue est incroyablement belle et les couchers de soleil sont magnifiques. Une voiture est nécessaire car la villa est située en montagne mais elle est à courte distance de la côte et de supermarchés. La piscine n'est pas très grande mais appréciable avec une eau chaude. Très bon accueil avec Sonia et quelques provisions de bienvenue. Manque quelques ustensiles dans la cuisine. Nous avons passé un bon séjour !

Traumhaftes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Wir als kleine Familie mit zwei Kindern (1,5 und 4 Jahre) hatten das schöne Haus mit dem wunderschönen Meerblick sehr genossen! Wir haben auch zwei Tage nur am Haus verbracht und konnten dort herrlich Entspannen. Die Kinder hatten durch den großen Garten und die Spielzeuge (das Spielhaus hat besonderen Gefallen gefunden)die Möglichkeiten, sich auszutoben. Der Pool (der täglich gereinigt wurde) wurde selbstverständlich gut genutzt. Es war alles so schön wie in der Beschreibung. Wir haben zwar viel im Haus gegessen,aber wir können definitiv empfehlen,essen zu gehen,denn das Preis Leistung Verhältnis ist top. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur und der Verwalterin vor Ort war sehr schnell und freundlich. Wir haben auch sofort eine Empfehlung bekommen,als wir einen Arzt benötigten. Auch die Tipps zum Essen gehen und die Stände waren eine gute Empfehlung! Zusätzlich können wir den Strand von Skinaria Beach empfehlen. (Die 1 stündige Autofahrt lohnt sich) dies kann man mit weiteren Besuchen der Strände auf der südlichen Seite der Insel verbinden.

In love with Chainteris villas and the beaches close by..

We loved our vacation..the House was perfect- clean,modern, with everything you'd need! Our sons (2 + 5) loved the garden and ,of course, the Pool. Sonia was great and even made us a homemade dish one night!!

Aufenthalt bei Chainteris 1

Es hatte anfänglich ein paar Mängel (WC Spülung defekt, Kaffeemaschine defekt) aber diese sind durch den Vermieter sofort ersetzt worden. Die Vermieterin Sonia war super nett und freundlich. Die Lage war super ruhig, nur die Betten hätten etwas weiche sein können. Sonst alles Top. Gerne wieder einmal

Fantastic relaxed long weekend break

Absolutely nothing negative to say about the property. Lovely clean beautiful villa with a fantastic garden! So much lush green grass and loads of areas to relax and sit. Perfect long weekend! I didn’t bring my kids but it would have been perfect for them too!! Lovely friendly helpful host who replied to emails within 5 mins ! Only thing I could add, would be to provide more larger mugs! We were all coffee drinkers and would fight over the only two mugs !! Otherwise perfecto!

The perfect place to get away from it all

We stayed in Villa 1, it was amazing. From moment we arrived we were blown away. Mrs. Sonia presented us with a delicious Moussaka. Just what we needed after a long journey. The service from Valia at Think Villa was outstanding throughout. The place is so quiet just what we needed. If you can ask for the chef service one night, a team come to the villa and make you the best meal you’ll have in Crete. We’ll be back.

Wunderbare Ferienwohnung!

Wunderbare Ferienwohnung! Ganz toller Blick und sehr schöner Garten mit Pool, Grill und Schaukel. Bei unserer Ankunft war sogar der Kühlschrank mit ein paar Basics gefüllt!! Sonja kam in der Woche zweimal zum sauber machen. Sie ist sehr liebevoll und gründlich. Außerdem hat sie uns auch selbstgemachte Mousaka mitgebracht. Ganz toll!! Nur manchmal gab es etwas wenig Wasser zum duschen... haben allerdings auch eine Dürre hier auf Kreta gerade gehabt... All in all aber alles super!

Fantastic. Would highly recommend it.

We arrived at the villa very late-around midnight. Sonia was there to give us a warm welcome, and better still, she'd even brought a delicious home-cooked meal for us to enjoy. The villa was spotless and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great too, although we weren't bothered by the heat as there was always a nice breeze, and plenty of shaded areas in the garden. Our children (aged 5 & 7) loved the pool, the garden and the sprinklers! The views from the villa were amazing and we spent most evenings watching the sunsets. Sonia was extremely helpful and even brought a delivery of fresh vegetables during our stay. She was attentive but respectful of our privacy too. The villa is located close to beaches, mountains and beautiful towns. We really enjoyed exploring the area as well as just relaxing at home. We were worried about insects but aside from the noise of cicadas (present throughout the island) we weren't affected by them at all. We'd love to come back soon!

Lovely villa and facility

Positives - Fantatastic villa and gardens with great views. Great for a family or group. Owner was very welcoming and friendly and even provided us with a home made Moussaka and bottle of wine. Peaceful due to location. Slight negatives - We found the beds to be very firm and not to our liking. The advertised taverna nearby was not open and local restaurants are a short drive. Internet was unavailable for 2 days much to our daughters horror ! Positives definitely outweighed the small negatives and would recommend the villa. Would also recommend Satnav for driving in Crete.

Fabulous garden and view!

This was a great villa and we (my husband and I along with our 8.5 month old baby daughter) had a superb stay here. Valia from ThinkVilla was so helpful before our stay and Sonia, the owner of the villa was extremely welcoming! She made us the most delicious moussaka for the first night we were there. Yum yum! The garden is just outstanding and would be great for older kids as well. The villa itself was perfect although the only negative was the stocking of the kitchen. It could use a few more things added such as more knives, another chopping board, a scale and/or measuring cups and bigger mugs and also a bbq set for the bbq. It was stocked enough that you could cook but there was only one of each thing so we needed to do dishes in between. Location was great - the view was outstanding and we were close enough to sightseeing opportunities. Some tips: We loved Rethymno more than Chania. The beach at the bottom of the road is ok but Bali was nicer. Well worth a visit if you like food is Agreco Farm near Adele. That was the highlight of our trip for us. We would definitely stay here again and can see our daughter loving the garden even more as she gets older!

Schönes Ferienhaus mit wundervollem Blick

Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen dort verbracht. Die Bilder halten was sie versprechen. Wir wurden von Sonja sehr herzlich empfangen und während unseres Aufenthaltes bestens betreut. Zwei Mal die Woche wurde geputzt und die Wäsche gewechselt und die von Sonja gekochte Moussaka war super lecker. Ich kann das Ferienhaus auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Absolutely Perfect!

We stayed here in Late March. We were met as soon as we arrived (Midnight) by Sonja and her husband who made us feel very welcome and made themselves available for anything we needed. The villa is superbly equipped inside and the outside is a really great space with great vies and ample space. The furniture is extremely comfortable and great for lounging! Sonja and her family were extremely dedicated to making our stay comfortable and kept the vill in an immaculate condition and we will most definitely return next year. Cant recommend this property enough so if you are looking for a villa in this area, stop looking and book now! Shay and Leigh
