Make sure you go to Aowanda National Forest, which can be found 5 miles (8 kilometers) out of Ren-ai. If you are after more to do, you might also want to visit Hehuan Mountain, which is 11 miles (18 kilometers) away.
Are you an enthusiastic sports fan? You might like to head 30 miles (48 kilometers) west of Ren-ai to check out Taiwan Provincial Stadium. The vibration of the stands and the roar of the crowd will linger in your mind as a special moment from your vacation.
Take your vacation to the next level with an adventure to the Small Swiss Garden and Mona Rudao Monument in Wushe, about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) to the north. Other inviting spots are the Chung-tai Shan Monastery and the Lungnan Natural Lacquerware Museum in Puli, found only 12 miles (19 kilometers) to the west of Ren-ai.
There are numerous activities to entertain you when you arrive in Yuchi, such as the Shueishe Pier, the Wen Wu Chao and Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. And, it's only 17 miles (27 kilometers) southwest of Ren-ai. Also stop by the Ming Temple and Daguan Power Plant to round out your tour.
Among the many pleasures of traveling is trying new food. So, be sure to head to the region's restaurants.
