Rezeption war nur telefonisch erreichbar; hatten nur eine Schlüsselkarte; Außenanlage ungepflegt (größere Menge Laub auf Gehweg und Eingangstreppe), Zimmer wurde während der 3 Tage nicht gereinigt, nur Handtücher wurden ausgetauscht. Parkettboden ist sehr unansehlich, müsst abgeschliffen werden; eine Lampe war defekt; in der Dusche fehlte an der Türe ein Griff; Wasser im Waschbecken lief sehr schlecht ab; in der Kleiderkommode müsste wieder mal Staub gewischt werden; Zimmer sehr klein ; eigentlich keine Sitzgelegenheit , ausser auf dem Bett; Möbel zum Teil abgewohnt; auf dem Boxspringbett schliefen wir sehr gut; kein Safe im Zimmer; Internet sehr gut

Nice apartement

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very large and cosy. The kitchen is very well equipped and better than expected based on the pictures from the hotel. Although sufficient, the room could have been cleaner and with more lighting. It was a bit too dark to have dinner in the upper floor. Both check-in and check-out went smoothly via phone. The city center is reachable by tram.

Wer alte Möbel mag und schon immer mal im Museum übernachten wollte, für den ist es ideal. Er sollte aber kein sehr großes Übergewicht haben, denn dann wird die Benutzung der Toilette zum Problem. Wenn man vor Ort bezahlen will, muss man einen Spaziergang einplanen. Man kann sich aber auch die Rechnung schicken lassen und dann per Überweisung zahlen. Wer oben genannte Fakten beachtet, kann einen interessanten Kurzurlaub in einer landschaftlich schönen Gegend verbringen.

Das Einchecken war schnell und gut.Aber das Zimmer der Freunde war unmöglich. Der Behälter der Seife war leer und es war kein Toilettenpapier im Badezimmer. Dieser Zustand konnte erst am Abend nach Beschwerden gebessert werden. In unserem Zimmer wurde bei der Reinigung kein Toilettenpapier aufgefüllt, sondern es musste das Personal erst darauf hingewiesen werden. Die Treppe im Haus wurde erst am Wochenende gereinigt. Das Frühstück am Freitag war nicht gut,da leere Marmeladengläser nicht gegen volle ausgetauscht wurden. Nachdem das Personal darauf angesprochen wurde, kam der Hinweis das am Wochenende wenn das Haus voll ist alles besser wird. Im Internet war auch damit geworben worden das am Abend eine gemütliche Bar vorhanden ist. Leider war am Abend kein Personal anwesend . Den Preis von 100 Euro für die Nacht ohne Frühstück finde ich zu hoch da für diese Preislage ein guter Service zu erwarten ist.

beautiful hotel a lot of character, the breakfast room and service were wonderful. the room was really nice but it was very cold where we slept. the upstairs (attic) part of our room was very warm. we enjoyed our stay.

Inmitten einer Villengegend, nahe des Stadtwalds..

...liegt dieses Hotel, das uns vor allem wegen unseres Zimmers (alles ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen) und des Frühstücksbuffets (recht einfach gehalten) nicht aus den Socken gehauen hat. Die steile Treppe rauf in die zweite Etage ist ebenfalls nicht für jedermann.

Pleasant hotel. Only item in need of improvement is the bed frame: it squeaks. Nice old neighborhood of Dresden. There's a Michelin-star restaurant within five-minute walk. It is a great value.

Romantisches Juwel im Grunen

Wunderschönes, romantisches Hotel in ruhiger Umgebung, direkt am Rande der Dresdner Heide gelegen. Sehr praktisch mit Hund! Parkplatz direkt beim Hotel. ÖV in unmittelbarer Nähe (Nr. 11). Fussweg von ca. 7- 8 Min. Bis zur nächsten Tramstation. Fahrt dauert nicht länger als 20-25 Min. bis Stadtzentrum. Unsere Doppelzimmer im 1.Stock wunderschön stilvoll und sehr zweckmässig eingerichtet. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Service sehr gut. Frühstücksbuffet hervorragend. Als schade empfanden wir, dass niemand von den Besitzern bzw. die Geschäftsführung sich mal persönlich zeigte. Obwohl sich das Personal gut um uns gekümmert hat. Preis- / Leistungsverhältniss stimmt! Wir werden auf jeden Fall bei einem allfälligen Besuch in Dresden wieder dieses Hotel buchen.

kleines nettes Hotel

Die Betten waren sehr bequem, das Bad geräumig, das Zimmer hell. Beim Frühstück variierte das Angebot, bzw die Qualität etwas, abhängig davon wer es gemacht hatte, aber es gab immer frisches Obst, Fisch, Käse, Wurst und Joghurt. Alles in allem echt gut um einen Städtetrip zu machen.

Ruhige Lage

Das Zimmer selbst war etwas hellhörig. Wenn im Nachbarzimmer das Bad genutzt wurde bekam man dieses unweigerlich mit. Ansonsten kann man dieses Hotel empfehlen. Schade dass es kein Restaurantbetrieb am Abend gibt, da der Garten sehr schön ist. Es können leider nur ca. 4 Fahrzeuge auf dem Parkplatz parken.

Mysigt nära skogen.

Trevlig atmosfär och känslan av att vara nära både natur och stad på en gång. Rummet kunde i och för sig varit större, men efter en lång dag i Dresden så rör man inte speciellt mycket på sig. I närheten av hotellet finns alla bekvämligheter. Nära Spårvagn, bankomat, affärer coh restauranger. Men det är även trevligt att ta en promenad i villakvarterern ner mot Elbe och restaurangerna där. Förutom detta så skänkte läget på höjden nära skogen mycket klar och bra luft. Även fukosten var bra. Enda nackdelen var avsaknaden av internet.

Our biggest hurdle is that staff did not speak any English so any guests must speak at least basic German to communicate. Public transportation is only a short walk away. There are restaurants and even a pharmacy and a grocery store within walking distance. Breakfast was great every morning and the sun room is so nice. No ice machine or fridge in rm so unable to keep drinks cold.Would probably stay there again.

Meine Erwartungen wurden erfüllt

Meinen Aufenthalt im Hotel "Villa Herzog" werde ich in guter Erinnerung behalten. Die ruhige, freundliche Atmosphäre des Hauses war das, was ich gesucht habe. Preis/Leistung hat gestimmt. Der Gartenteil ist auch sehr schön, um sich auch einmal ins Freie zu begeben. Eine Einschränkung: Leider waren von drei Gartengestühlgarnituren zwei durch Diebstahlsicherung zusammengebunden. Das wirkte weniger einladend. Ich würde bei Bedarf wieder dieses Hotel wählen.
