Drawing inspiration from the timeless elegance of French designer Christian Liaigre, this second-level, south-facing, courtyard-view condo at Pearl Mill Flats blends refined minimalism with rich historical character. The community sits on the site of the former Pearl Cotton Mill and retains striking elements of its industrial past including the original smokestack and the Duke Tower, now a distinctive focal point within the enclosed courtyard.

Bathed in natural light throughout the day, the interior is appointed with original African art and hand-carved wood accents, adding warmth to its clean, minimalist design. Just two blocks from Duke University, this stylish and serene retreat is perfect for business travelers and leisure guests alike.

The condo features a queen bed with room-darkening curtains, plush towels and robes, and lemon verbena–scented Pharmacopia Natural & Organic bodycare products. The full kitchen includes sleek European-style appliances: a cooktop, microwave/oven combo, dishwasher, an efficiency-sized refrigerator (no freezer) and a portable ice maker. Nespresso and drip coffee maker also provided.

Recessed lights on dimmers allow you to set the perfect ambiance, while the dining table doubles as a comfortable workspace with leather armchairs. The large Roku smart TV, quiet upstairs location, and access to a tranquil, enclosed courtyard make it easy to relax and unwind. The gated building includes ample free parking, a seasonal saltwater pool, and an on-site laundry facility with detergent provided.

Check-In: 3-8 pm, upon arrival, you’ll use the call box at the entrance to gain access. Once inside, you'll find key fobs in the condo that allow you to open the gates freely for the remainder of your stay. The unit is on the second level and requires stairs to access.
