Setting of the cabins on the lake side of the road are terrific, and cabin #6 setting out front with a view of the sweeping lawn down to the lake, and a babbling brook right next to the cabin, with large picture windows to frame the view, was exceptional. Full kitchen, fireplace, covered sundeck, nice size living room. The two bedrooms were pretty small, but still did have queen size beds. Very nice, large bathroom with jetted tub, which we did not use. Expensive, at well over $300, but a great last night for our around the Olympic Peninsula road trip! We would stay here again. A nitpick is that their website makes the behind the street motel units look as though they are right next to the lawn, and the ground floor units do NOT have a view as the evergreen shrubs have grown up so far they block a lake view. But, at about $145 plus tax, they are way cheaper. There is a very nice restaurant right across the street with a salmon heavy, limited menu for dinner.

We stayed in cabin 7. Perfect view of the lake. The beds were comfy and the cabin was super clean. Having the free coffee at the store in the morning was a plus. Microwave and mini fridge in the cabin helped as well. We want to go back!

This place has the best views of the sunset. And best bang for your buck (especially if your room has a lake view window). Also, dont sleep on the hand dipped fried mushrooms from the Salmon House, so delicious!

Beautiful location and close to trails. However, lodge rooms were old and need updating. Also, the dining room was only open for takeout and the table in our bedroom was really only large enough for one person. We got in the car and drove a mile to the historic lodge and had a lovely dining experience there.
