Not even REMOTELY a Full Service Hotel!

Stayed here for 3 Nights. Room condition was very dated , with Closet Door falling off the track when trying to open, among other gems....Cheap Plastic Cups in "minibar" ( if you can call that a Minibar ) TV Channels were by any hotel standard "Basic" . Every second channel seemed to be "not available" Staff seemed at best ' Dis-interested " NO FOOD AVAIL AT ALL! In this day and age ,and certainly at the rates that the Hospitality Inn charges, a proper "Hotel" should at the very least provide the guest with the ability to order room service and when listing and selling packages including Bfast , there is an assumption is that you can actually eat on site. Not the case with this place. When checking in , you are given a meal voucher for Smitty's Restaurant , which is a 10 min car ride away from the hotel!! I travel for a living and stay in Hotels all over the world , and to say that I was unimpressed by this place is an understatement! Particularly when paying full service Hotel rates in a small town like PA. Stay ANYWHERE ELSE when coming to visit Port Alberni. The new management of the H.I have taken being cheap to a whole new level!!
