The resort itself is very clean and well maintained, which we appreciated. However, our experience on the adults-only side was disappointing due to poor service. The waitstaff often had an unwelcoming attitude, and service overall felt slow and inattentive. The food was average nothing memorable or standout. One of the biggest issues was at the steakhouse, where we had an 8:00 PM reservation but still waited over an hour to be seated, which was very frustrating and the service after being seating was slow and horrible. Overall, while the property is clean, the service and dining experience, especially on the adult side, did not meet expectations and took away from what could have been a much better stay.

The hotel is nice and clean and has lots of potential to be a true 5 star resort. They are very understaffed, one waitress by the pool, no bar service by the beach and if anyone was working it took about 45 minutes to get a drink. Forget getting coffee at breakfast took forever if you got it at all. Our room was only cleaned 3 times in a 6 night stay. The food was ok but it’s an AI so we didn’t expect gourmet dining experiences. We were only allowed 4 specialty restaurants during our stay it said we exceeded our ala carte allowance. We did get an upgrade to a master suite but we lost our pool view, I think they just overbooked pool view suites. We had a nice time, but I’m not sure I would go back.

The minibar wasn’t working. It was very hot. The bathroom sync drainage was super slow. The shower had two shower heads. Only one had a drainage system. Serenade needs to improve on customer listening skills. They need to take care of issues on the first complain. It was very frustrating to have to go to the front desk several times to remind them about the issues not getting fixed.

The resort manager, Maria, was unhelpful following a nightmare incident in the pool when a semi-conscious guest was dunked in the pool a few times by an immature guest as he and others laughed when the guest sank to the bottom of the pool and had been sick. Pam, a good citizen, came to his aid to end this despicable debacle before he drowned! Pam sent a photo of the thug who was manhandling the guest to Maria but she didn't check the security footage or deal with the thug! In hindsight, we should have reported it to the police. Also, if security had done their job at the poolside, this wouldn't have happened.

Room was great. Ocean view, over the pool. Room was clean, but, there was a leak from the ceiling in the water closet when they showered upstairs. Not really a big deal, but present. Restaurants were fabulous!! Staff was exceptional every day!!!!

The room was cleaned, however the restroom ..... Also, not every visitor loves such a loud music most of the days. I strongly believe there was more pepole hoping for a more quiet time to spend by the pools, to relax and rejuvenate before come back to a today's noisy world. Food and restaurants are great, especialy Koi :-)

The condition of the room was average. Housekeeping was not good, towels were not replaced when requested. No iron/steamer in the room. Reservations were needed for the restaurants and the food was average. Service was slow at all restaurants.
