Hotel was nice, food was good, staff was not friendly. Had a handful of friendly workers, not just our experience, was talked about by other guests as well. Very pushy to get you to sign up to for timeshare sales pitch. Restaurants reservations were very limited when booking, yet each restaurant was 25-30% full. Room service was not available unless you booked the day before. 24 hour room service was not available most time frames, due to reservations times all being booked just liked he dinners.

⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ — Beautiful Resort but Some Disappointing Issues Royalton Bavaro Punta Cana is a beautiful resort with plenty of activities, and most of the staff were very friendly. Our host Angelo was the highlight of our trip — he went above and beyond and truly made us feel taken care of. However, a few things brought the experience down: • Food was underwhelming for a resort of this level. • Too many vendors on the property and beach. Some looked like actual hotel staff but were selling fake cigars or overpriced items. On the beach we were approached constantly, which made it hard to relax. • Checkout was frustrating. We followed the instructions to vacate our room by 12pm and wait for our luggage to be picked up, but staff forgot. Then we were nearly charged for “late checkout” even though we were out on time. Thankfully Donald eventually resolved it, but it left a bad impression. Angelo’s kindness and professionalism were the saving grace and the reason this is 3 stars instead of 2. The resort is gorgeous, but the food, vendors, and checkout experience definitely need improvement

On 11/11/2025 my husband and I arrived 12:00PM at the Royalton Bavaro early and waited till 3pm to checked in. We noticed that there was a lot of people smoking in the lobby with staff walking up and down not saying anything. I asked guest services if there was a destinated area for smokers and was told NO which was unbelievable. That night – we had dinner at ZEN, which was good. After dinner we headed back to the room, because of the smoking. 11/12/2025: We had dinner at GRAZIE – The food was very cold. 11/13/2025 both my husband and I got extremely sick for 4 days, I made a complained to guest services, filing out a form explaining our sickness o 11/15/2025 I got a text from Stheve the concierge, saying he is not at the hotel, we could send an email which I explained that both my husband & I was very sick and did have clean towels, toilet paper, bottled water or the trash picked up for two days which continue through Nov 16 &17 o Nov 18th, I made another complained showing photos. • Royalton Bavaro- November 17th was my birthday and you ruined it to the core; it was the worst sickness I ever endue without a call from your staff. Management: Pay attention to your guest Be mindful of your guest complained Create a destinated area for smokers The restaurant food should be tested/checked Cut down on the very salty food at the buffet Cover the food from the flies at the buffet especially breakfast We never coming back at your resort

Been to Punta Cana many times. This resort is nice for younger families. Rooms are nice. Beds are comfortable. We had no issues . The resort grounds and pools/lazy river are all very nice. Lots to do. We booked this resort specifically for the Flowrider which was not working the whole time we stayed. Very disappointing. The beach is beautiful but chairs/palapas are very close together...too close. Way too tight compared to other places we have stayed in Punta Cana. Get there early (7:30 am) if you want chairs at the beach or pools. The food is average. Not bad not great. Nothing new for Punta Cana all inclusive resorts. They definitely need more servers in the restaurants to wait on guests. Too many times we waited and waited for water/refills or drink orders. The bars and bartenders were always good. The staff was always friendly and helpful no matter where we were. The casino is a nice option to have. The shows at night were entertaining. I can only recommend this resort to families. It really is geared for families. Lots of children when we stayed. Not really ideal for couples who want to relax on the beach or by the pool. Or have dinner without kids crying. This is not any fault of the resort. Just an FYI. We booked this trip and others in the past thru Expedia. Check in and check out was easy. We had help from Adoni from Expedia. He also made all our restaurant reservations. He was a big help during our stay. Overall a good experience.

I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and truly relaxing. A special shout out goes to Stheve, who delivered absolutely exceptional service throughout my stay. He helped me book all my restaurant reservations with ease and made sure every detail was perfect. Not only was he professional and attentive, but he consistently went above and beyond to ensure I had an unforgettable experience. Thanks to him, I never had to worry about a thing and could fully enjoy everything the resort had to offer. The staff as a whole made the experience feel personal and special. I cannot recommend this resort enough, and I genuinely hope to return soon. If you visit, make sure to look for Stheve because he is truly a standout and a big part of what made my stay so memorable!
