Overall, my stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The staff were extremely kind and attentive, the food was excellent, the pools were spotless, the beach was beautiful, and the gardens were well cared for. Unfortunately, the room did not meet the same standard. It showed signs of poor maintenance, had a damp odor, visible mold in the shower corners, a loose toilet seat, and a leaking sink that required placing a towel on the floor. Aside from the room maintenance issues, everything else was excellent.

It’s just not updated. The rooms are old, and the outlets are all loose, plus not properly placed. the buffet restaurant has the worst food (not the snack bar), but the other restaurants were fantastic. The staff couldn’t get a higher score because there is no higher score. I love them all, and they are wonderful. Every single person working there is a credit to your franchise. If I came here in 2005, I’d love it, but n 2025 it just isn’t up to par with other resorts on the island.

Pros: The beach was very nice and well maintained. The resort offered plenty of activities, which were fun and kept the whole family entertained. If you enjoy staying busy and spending most of your time outdoors, this was the best part of the stay. Cons: The resort is very old and clearly outdated. The bathroom cabinets were in poor condition and appeared to be falling apart. The safe deposit box in the room did not work due to missing batteries. Housekeeping was inconsistent and did not properly clean or replace the sheets after room service, which was disappointing and concerning. Additionally, several facilities and pool areas had missing or broken tiles, which felt unsafe and could easily be a liability if someone were to get cut or injured. Overall: For the amount of money we paid, this resort was not worth the cost. While the beach and activities were enjoyable, the lack of maintenance, cleanliness issues, and safety concerns significantly took away from the experience. Major updates and better upkeep are needed to justify the price.

Despite of good ambient, the room was dirty. not only bugs were found inside the closet and around the bedsheet, also mattresses and bedsheets were full of stains and dirtiness. good entertainment but with staff with very limited knowledge of English to communicate.

We have stayed at lots of Riu hotels all around the world because we like the all inclusive service and pools. The room was clean, pool hours were more limited, the equipment in the gym is broken and have been for years. The food was not as good as most other Riu hotels. The changing room doors by the pools are on backwards so everyone can see in but you can't see out. The doors dont close anyway. We noticed a downward trend in the RIU hotels in punta cana since we started going there. It seems they are not repairing or maintaining anything. The hotel staff were nice and helpful.

Las comidas aunque sean en los restaurantes especializados son buffet, en sabor es ok pero algunas estaban fria, cuando te sentabas a comer en el salon principal habian moscas y si te sentabas afuera eran las palomas. En los pasillos por las mañanas el personal de housekeeping literal gritaban y se escuchaban en el cuarto. Los cuartos necesitan mantenimiento el aire acondicionado la primera noche no funciono. El drenaje de la ducha estaba tapado lo dijimos y siguio igual bajando bien lento. La ultima noche se fue la luz a las 3 de la madrugada y al parecer no tienen generador porque estuvo media hora sin luz luego volvio y se fue. Para que lo tengan en cuenta si dependen de maquina C-PAP para dormir. El personal del hotel Habian personal amable y otros para nada amables. Los shows solo una noche hubo un buen show.

I thought housekeeping was very clean. I notice a big water bug roach on the hallway floors. I put a towel under room 3009 front door to keep any bugs out. Maybe weather striping under door will help. Room was cleaned every day. Resort personnel was always helpful, good food, good choices. Planning our next year vacation with my 19 and 22 years for the same week next year. They loved the Riu party and activities. Bars and pools is the reason, they wanted to come. The Riu party was a big suprise. I was concerned that the Disco had no security staff inside on Saturday night 12/20/25. Overall, the price was good for the money and is the main reason we are coming back next year. Thanks to your staff
