Our stay at Paradisus Palma Real was extremely disappointing and far below expectations for a family resort of this category. We had booked a full week but left after only three days due to a series of unacceptable situations. From the start, there was no staff available to help with our luggage. A large group had arrived before us, and we were left to carry our own bags despite traveling with two small children (ages 2 and 5). Housekeeping was another serious problem. We checked in on Friday, and by Saturday at 3:30 p.m. our room still had not been cleaned. I requested service since my 2-year-old uses diapers and the trash already had a strong odor. No one came until 10:00 p.m., after I had to take the trash outside myself and complain in the lobby. This neglect is unacceptable. On Saturday morning, while having breakfast, we were horrified to find a cockroach walking on our table. This was unsanitary and unacceptable in any resort, especially one claiming to be luxury. The most upsetting incident occurred Sunday night. While quietly watching TV with my children, security knocked on our door to complain that our baby had been crying and that we were being noisy. I was shocked and outraged. At a family resort, it is natural for a 2-year-old to cry. For security to treat us this way was humiliating. What was meant to be a relaxing family vacation turned into stress and frustration. I had no choice but to request a refund and urge management to address these failures.

If i could give this property 100 stars i would. The food was great, staff wonderful. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The pools were huge with no need to set our alarm to try to get lounge chairs begore they were all taken. Same was for the beach area. They did have seaweed as most resorts do now, but they were out every morning raking it up. We swam in the ocean and there were just small clumps..nothing crazy. If you are looking for a beautiful resort at an affordable price, this is it! This is our second time staying at a Paradisus (we stayed at one in Mexico in March and loved that as well..it is definitely our favorite resort brand)

We recently stayed at your property and unfortunately, our overall experience did not meet our expectations. The main reason we chose the hotel was because of the photos and descriptions online, which made it appear as a high-quality destination. However, the real experience was far from what was advertised. Room & Service The room itself and basic amenities were average, but the service was inconsistent and unprofessional. Room service was not attentive and came across as too casual. Additionally, the language barrier created repeated communication problems, making even simple requests unnecessarily difficult. Food & Dining One of the most disappointing aspects of our stay was the food. Although the property promotes multiple dining options and cuisines, the quality was very underwhelming. Aside from breakfast, the meals did not feel fresh—many items seemed reheated or prepared long in advance, with desserts especially tasting like they were several days old. The "all inclusive" concept also felt misleading, as there seemed to be conditions or limitations attached to a number of items and services. Overall, dining here did not match the promise or expectations of a quality resort experience. Front Desk & Management Our biggest dissatisfaction was with the front desk and supervisory staff. Service at the front desk was slow, disorganized, and at times dismissive. The impression we got was that having a “manager” or “supervisor” was more for show.

Spent a week at The Paradisus & we were not disappointed. Other than a few minor issue with the room upon check-in, everything else was more than enough to make up for it. We stayed on the adults only side,which is a different set up than the family side. We were not part of The Reserve however. The room was spacious & had an updated feel.The mini fridge was well stocked & all included.Snacks were also all included.The king bed was firm & comfortable. The AC kept it cool.It seems to tied to the motion sensor but not exclusively. We did adjust the temperature on the t'stat. The grounds are well maintained by the grounds staff & are always on duty pruning palms,trimming shrubs or cleaning the walks,etc. The "adult pool" is a nice size & there were always chairs under umbrellas available,& towels. We never had to play the towel game thankfully. That is a big plus to not have to deal with the save your spot at 6am.One issue.The pool floor is losing tiles in one area & that should be addressed. It's spells lack of maintenance which is really not evident anywhere else on the property, besides potentially hurting the bare feet. The buffets were well stock with plenty of options to please just about anyone. Everything was well prepared & for the most part what needed to be kept warm was.What needed to be cool was also. The specialty restaurants we dined at were very good.The Dominican restaurant was treat to the local food. The staff was excellent! Junior at the buffet was a standout

Everything was amazing! One tip, as soon as you check in, be sure to make your dinner reservations for every night of your stay. Staff were superb. Rooms were amazing and the view from an ocean front room were picture perfect.

Our stay at Meliá Paradisus Palma Real had many positive aspects and some areas that could improve. The facilities are beautiful and the beach is spectacular. We were especially impressed by the generous inclusion of fish in the menus, both in quantity and variety, which we truly enjoyed. On the other hand, from the very first day we noticed a fair amount of insistence on offering us a membership. We understand this is part of the hotel’s operations, but at times it felt slightly out of place when all we wanted was to disconnect and relax. Additionally, the assigned concierge promised to help with restaurant reservations, but these were never confirmed; however, when we handled it directly at the reservations desk, it was quick and easy. Overall, it’s a beautiful place with remarkable dining options, and with a few adjustments in customer service, it could be an even more special experience.

There was a mix-up with my room. I opted for a junior suite adults only for my birthday. I arrived and was put on the family side in an upgraded suite with double beds and a pull-out couch. I specifically chose the adults only so that i could have peace and quiet. The second room, i entered and a guest was standing there. The third room was rhe exact room that i booked but it smelled like mildew. The hot water, tv, and mini fridge didnt work. They eventually sent someone up the next day to get it taken care of. The food was really good. I was happy they had tons of vegetarian options. The views were beautiful. The grounds were clean. It was easy to walk the beach. The spa was also clean. My massage was amazing. I specifically chose to vacation here for my birthday but it wasnt a pleasant celebration.

Friendly people!!! Good Hotel!! Our concierge Dileydi was amazing with us. We celebrate one of our son’s birthday and she prepares everything for us like decorations and deserts. She takes cares us in our stay. Felix the server was amazing too, you can find him in Cana Bar or at the Italian restaurant in the night to have a services how you deserve.
