We were a group of 30 guests, and 14 of us became ill with stomach-related issues during our stay at the resort. This raised serious concerns about hygiene and food safety. Customer service throughout the stay was extremely poor. At the buffet, we often had to search for clean cutlery ourselves. Calling reception from our room was ineffective—requests were rarely fulfilled, if at all. We raised multiple concerns with management, including a serious incident where our room door became stuck and would not open. We were forced to wait outside the room for approximately 3.5 hours before anyone came to fix it. When we finally spoke with management about these issues, the response was dismissive and showed a complete lack of care or accountability. Overall, the experience was disappointing and unacceptable, especially given the size of our group and the severity of the issues encountered.

We had a very good stay at Ocean Blue & Sand. The resort is clean, well maintained, and extremely walkable. A courtesy cart passes by often, which makes getting around the property easy. The pools and beach areas are beautiful, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The food was solid with good variety, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, though a few areas could use minor updates. The beach is lovely, and the team works hard to manage seaweed when it comes in. One thing to be aware of: upon arrival, you’ll likely be approached about a premier package presentation. The staff are very persuasive, and the process can take up a good part of your day, so it’s worth deciding ahead of time whether you’re interested. There also isn’t much to do outside the resort within walking distance, so most exploring requires booking excursions or transportation. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable all‑inclusive stay with great service and strong value.

The rooms were nice! House keeping comes daily, if not every other! The pools are great, very clean. There are three pools. Two with pool swim up bars and a kiddy pool. One pool is chosen as the party pool, and the other is more relaxed and quiet! The beach is beautiful and has several vendors daily! Also, daily offers for pineapple and coconut drinks!! $5 each! Highly recommend this property!

The food selection was good from the buffet however, the specialty restaurants were a hit or miss. At the Mexican restaurant, the service was not so great when we went and it was hard to get the staff's attention so it took about an extra 20 mins to get dessert and the staff just didn't look happy to be there. We ordered fondue as an appetizer, and the cheese wasn't melted and was cold. Managed to get a reservation with the Japanese restaurant, and it was bad. Was part of the last group, and the staff were rushing to finish. The appetizers were sushi and miso soup, but I didn't end up getting sushi. The chefs were great, but the waiter assigned to my table was rude. He called my partner a baby for ordering Iced tea and a shirly temple. The only good food was the fried rice because the miso was diluted too much, so it just tasted like water, and the dessert was warm and grainy. Most of the staff at the resort were very nice and accommodating. The room looked cleaned but when you took a closer look, it wasn't. The bed sheets were stained, and there was a bad sewer smell when we first entered. It did go away after airing out the room for a bit, but not pleasant to smell when being introduced to a new room. The beach was very beautiful and had minimal seaweed. Also great activities like a fire show and a Michael Jackson show. Overall,l we had a good time there, just with a few hiccup,s but that didn't ruin our trip

We loved our stay at this resort. The beach was beautiful and and weather was perfect during our stay of Christmas week. The staff is very friendly and attentive to all our needs. The food is very very good. We celebrated my parents 50th anniversary there and the staff was more than helpful in meeting all of our special requests. We would definitely come and stay here again.
