Clean and spacious room in the villa. Short walk or train ride to all events within a few minutes. Beach was beautiful and not crowded.

It’s an all inclusive hotel, but if you want service from the staff prepare to bring lots of cash, the quality of this hotel has gone down extremely, my family and I have been going here for 5 years, this was the last time, my husband and my teenage children were offered illegal drugs by the beach are in more than one occasion. Reported to a supervisor didn’t seem to care. I would not bring my family to that hotel, good luck, stay safe 👍

I really enjoyed all the activities that they had available and how they were able to get audience participation. I didn’t like that you had to specifically ask for alcohol in your drinks and how some people were extremely rude (not employees) at the Buffett. You were only able to make 3 restaurant accommodations for a week so you ate at the buffet a lot and the food was hit or miss. The property itself was beautiful and easy enough to walk around in from place to place. The gym was actually really nice for a resort and had quite a few different machines to utilize.

The resort was very nice! Gardens were beautiful..the lobby was lovely…lots of seating and the constant breezes were amazing! The food was surprisingly delicious!! The bars were plentiful! The staff was attentive for the most part. The only downside was that they told us there were no dinner reservations available for the week and we attempted to make them as soon as we arrived!! However, Chayanne came to our rescue and helped us get reservations every day we were there. He really went out of his way to accommodate us - he was the BEST!!! :-) Overall, I would recommend The Melia Caribe Beach resort to friends.

If I could leave 10 stars I would. We had the most amazing trip. There was plenty of security and we felt extremely safe. The property is beautiful, the beaches were outstanding, the food was great, the amenities were nice, the rooms were perfect, but the staff was what really made the trip extra special. Make your restaurant reservations early because they will likely be full by the time you arrive and you'll be left with only the buffet. Don't say I didn't warn you. I highly recommend paying to have the "Level" access. Private pools, a restaurant that always has seating, private bar and beach access. The property is huge but there is plenty of transportation. We loved the dance party in the lobby at the end of the night. Quick shout out to Marianna (our concierge) and Lilian (food and bev manager) They both went above and beyond for our group and made our trip so so special. Thank you Melia Caribe! We can't wait to come back!
