I liked almost everything about the resort, even Miguel, the only issues or reservations I have are with the outside staff that work the Dominican flee market and the casino, the flee market salesman was rude and aggressive and made me feel pressured to buy items, the prices where robbery as well. There should be no reason why I should be persuaded to spend $1000 American dollars on a necklace that is $14 American in the shop, the Casino black jack worker in the Casino was also very hostile and passive aggressive and made me feel like I didn’t belong there, but there was a bright side in my Butler Omar who kept my smile going and the home feeling alive. His smile was so contagious and consistent throughout the entire trip and I could tell he cared about us personally not just as guest. Amiable Raposo was nothing less then LEGENDARY he took care of everything he was so sweet that it almost made me emotional, please take care of that man and make sure to keep him happy. All in all it was almost perfect

Overall the hotel was fine but the buffet food was horrible. Everything tasted bad and looked old. We asked out butler to dine at a sister hotel Elegance right next to it, and he arranged it. It was FANTASTIC. I realized that when Elegance was having for example a Chinese night, the next day we would get the leftovers from there in Mirage but food was exactly a day old. Rice was reheated so many times that it was like chewing a rock. If you’re gonna go there, choose Elegance. Mirage was horrible and it didnt feel right to eat leftover.

The property was amazing. I enjoyed the food option. Excursions were easy to book and arrived on time. The drinks were endless. Love the parrot bar. Loved my butler.

Outstanding service and communication. From Check-in to Check out. Our butler, Luis Batista, was very attentive, extremely kind and really went so far above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing honeymoon. He made the whole experience wonderful from the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out. Very grateful for him and we will return because of his fantastic customer service and we will absolutely request him again. In general all of the staff were very friendly and everyone makes you feel like family.

While there was some issues with the room, they staff tried to get them fixed and make things right. Phone in the room didn’t work, paint chipping off our table on the patio, door to sky view patio didn’t lock right, light wire on the sky view patio was stripped, gave us a shock when using. Staff was wonderful, everyone always friendly. As for entertainment, there could be some more.
