This was our second time at Majestic, back for our honeymoon after getting engaged there 2 years ago. We stayed at the Elegance and it was great. The rooms are always clean, the food is great and the staff were the best. Our favorite places to eat were hibachi and the steakhouse. Alex the hibachi cook was awesome- entertaining and food was great. Our favorite bartenders were Victor and Roberto. Sexy Deso and Angelica with the activities were a lot of fun and always made sure everyone was having a great time. Breilyn the waiter in the steakhouse was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Majestic Elegance

We stayed at the Majestic Elegance for 6 days. I was disappointed during our stay. Firstly, the rooms were nice, however, our pillows and blankets smelled old and musty, like they were continuously wet. Our toilet area had a constant ceiling leak, where you were dripped on upon opening the glass. The maintenance man did fix our problem, after about a gallon of water fell on the man's head and toilet from above. The food was average. Some dinners were better than others, but at the buffet stations you can expect mostly the same food morning and night. There was also a large amount of tiles missing from the pool floor, you can move them around and pick them up with your feet.

This was my first time going out of the country and I was nervous to say the least. I LOVED this hotel, their employees and the location. The entertainment team was the highlight of my trip. The staff was SO incredibly nice and accommodating.

Beautiful location

Staff was very nice but especially helpful, totally professional and courteous was front desk clerk Mr. Roman L. (He made sure our change of room to a lower floor, was to our satisfaction), he even assistant us with relocation to our new room. He went the extra mile for us 🙂. Hotel grounds are very beautiful, well kept and clean. The pool area was excellent, with ample seating. Food was good, our favorite restaurant was Flavoers - had larger variety of foods, must add they were always cleaning the food areas. Shows were nice but too Americanized. Very limited Spanish music was played during the entertainment shows such as Merengue/ Bachata/Salsa. We were unable to enjoy the beach water due to lots of seed weed (seasonal) but the pool made up for that. One needs to be extremely careful with drinking/tasting the water/brushing teeth (I experienced stomach virus upon arrival even though I was careful and used lots of bottle water). Location is ideal for children and family.

Vacation in Punta Cana

we upgraded to the majestic elegance club and we feel it was worth it. Private and more quiet areas around the pool and beach side. The rooms come with a jacuzzi tub. It would be nice to have a full size mirror in the rooms. Also perhaps more care be given to food preparation both my husband and I get sick with something we ate at one of the restaurants. We were in bed for an entire day and missed one of our planned excursions.

hotel was clean but our keys stopped working 2 times during the trip for no reason NOT GOOD!!!!!!!! food was ok drinks were good staff was very nice except the expedia rep was VERY PUSHY to only use him to book excursion not cool I was able to get much cheaper prices and much better service from the other reps with whom I booked 5 daily excursions for 5 people each time

Fun resort

This resort offered a relaxing vacation. Some of the pros include friendly and helpful staff. My room was spacious and cleaned perfectly daily. There were several employees who made our stay enjoyable. Our butler Jose was awesome, and he made my husbands birthday unforgettable. Anna in the Elegance lounge always had a smile on her face and was never to busy to help or talk. The bartender Cesar at the adults only pool was great and made a mean cocktail! Last but not least one server at several restaurants, Ragaidy, was so helpful, kind, and always had a smile one his face. All of the employees went above and beyond to make our stay one of a kind. The food was pretty good, try the hibachi. One con was the adults only section is meant for those who dont plan on partying....a little too quiet for me. But otherwise great trip!
