Let me start by saying I am not typically a resort lover, especially all inclusive. I usually prefer to get out and see the towns and cities nearby and eat local food. The hotel was beautiful and clean. Most of the staff was amazing. The food was just so so, in my opinion. I wanted to get out and see more but all that was available was very touristy tours mostly non-Dominican food. I recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway or for a family that wants to stay on campus. I knew it wouldn’t be the most cultural experience, but I hoped to find some. There was almost zero.

Most of the time it was like the staff hated that you were there. our bedding had blood stains on it and when it was mentioned to housekeeping she acted like it was normal. There was no face towels and even after requesting it twice it never came. The reservation system they have for the restaurants for dinner doesn't work properly. The staff was not well informed on several questions we had. The pool is falling apart -literally- the tiles from the bottom and sides of the pool were all falling off and I hurt my toe on grout. I would not stay at this property or any Majestic resorts in the future.

The pool and beach are amazing. Staff are lovely and friendly. This is our second time going with our kids. I will say this second time we were there, we weren't as happy with our stay as the first time. The entertainment staff weren't engaged with our kids, and barely around unless you go directly to the kids club. The rooms weren't that clean, and we had to wait a couple of days to ensure the room did get updated with clean towels, which was a pain. The pillows all need to be replaced - smelled like cheese, and were dense as though they had been washed, and were wet/damaged.. not sure exactly. Curtains in the room smelled awful!!! And the soaps/toiletries don't smell good.

Beautiful room very spacious and the swim up is a must! My butler Santaigo was very helpful. The beach looked like a post card. Everyone was amazing and beyond friendly. Shows were okay. Good enough to kill some time. Food was hit or miss but lots of options to chose from. Hibatchi and Italian restaurants were yummy. Room service food was always hot and fresh unlike the buffet.

The whole place was lovely. Restaurants were delicious and no problem getting eight of us in for dinner each night The beach was beautiful and easy to get beach chairs. No getting up early to reserve a chair. Lots of chairs foe sun and shade. Rooms were cool and clean.

During my stay at Majestic Elegance I can’t say it enough how staff went above and beyond. Our Butler, Juan checked in a few times a day to see what he could do for us. Maxima and her crew at the Club Beach bar delivered delicious drinks continuously to us and were friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed the beach and pools. Loved that chairs and beds were always readily available anytime of day. The rooms, buffets and grounds were kept beautifully. The Japanese restaurant was the best. The others were eh. We even enjoyed a few of the shows when we were able to catch them. Our entire trip was a great success!
