Great hotel, well organized. Food really good, we tried all the restaurants ( be careful if any allergies, make sure you tell everyone multiple times), all were good. Pool and beach are amazing. The boulevard is very nice. People need to pay a little more attention, but thats not a big concern.

Our room had a broken shower head. It also had a broken drying rack that was out of the wall on the balcony. We waited over 2 hours to check-in. Room was not ready at 3pm as stated. Check-in line was very, very long. They have to do a better job with their check-in system.

Rating: 7.5/10 Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort Spa & Casino is aesthetically pleasing and very modern-looking. The property itself is beautiful and well designed. However, our experience started off poorly. We arrived around 4:30 PM on the first day and were told they did not have gas, so no freshly cooked food was available. The only options were Caesar salad, boiled leftover wings, and nachos with canned meat. Unfortunately, the food was unpleasant and not what you’d expect from a high-end all-inclusive resort. Overall, the food and service were very mediocre. The buffet was especially disappointing and bland, lacking flavor, and honestly hard to eat. Some of the meat even had a slight smell, which made it very unappetizing. It felt like eating while sick. No real taste or enjoyment. The à la carte restaurants that require reservations were noticeably better, and the food there actually tasted good. The downside is that it was extremely difficult to get reservations, which made it frustrating. Service was another letdown. Many staff members came across as unwelcoming and often had an attitude. There was very little guidance or information provided about activities or amenities. We had to figure most things out on our own. In summary, while the resort looks great and has potential, the food quality, service, and overall guest experience fell short of expectations

Stayed at Lopesan Costa Bávaro (all-inclusive). The resort itself is beautiful and the pool area was excellent and well maintained, but our room experience let the trip down. Cleanliness and housekeeping were inconsistent (smelly/damp room, bedding issues, towels not replaced, and even missing basics like a hairdryer for days despite multiple requests). Staff were polite but follow-through was poor, and the buffet food quality wasn’t great and upset our stomachs. Great facilities, but service and room standards didn’t match the price.

The room was in great condition. The housekeeper’s were very nice. Front desk staff were nice as well. What you can do to improve is train your staff on how to handle emergencies and other situations as far as maintenance and after hour complaints. There is no one to talk to when there’s an issue with a room or etc..You’re not able to put in a request on the app, after a certain time I guess. I didn’t have hot water for 3 whole days in my shower I had to take a cold shower for the first 2 days and the 3rd day I washed up in the sink because the water was only hot in the sink. I complained about it and maintenance came and fixed the issue. My power went out for about 23 minutes I was on my laptop finishing some work. So I had to sit in the dark which was not good at all. I put in a complaint on the app no one contacted me until I went to the front desk about the problem. I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Freddy! He told me my name was on the list of complaints I guess. He told me to call him when I got to my room and let him if my water is hot or not and it wasn’t. I just came back from a muddy excursion and I had to take a shower in cold water. Once I got out of the shower there was a knock on the door and it was maintenance letting me know the water was now hot. Which I let him in to check and it was but I already took a cold shower so I was pissed about that. And all I got was SORRY!! I wasn’t accommodated for anything. Not one manager called. More bilingual staff!
