I booked my stay through Expedia/Verbo and received confirmation emails. When I arrived, the receptionist was very helpful and polite, and the property itself looked well-maintained. Unfortunately, they had no record of my booking, and the hotel was overbooked. Despite the receptionist’s efforts to find me alternative accommodations nearby, nothing was available.
Thankfully, a worker at the nearby Punta Cana Ecolodge went out of her way to contact her network and helped me secure a place to stay in a similar area, which I truly appreciate.
Overall, while the staff were helpful and the property looks nice, my experience was disappointing, and I have not yet received a refund for the booking that could not be honored.
