The plunge pool and views from the patio were amazing. It would have been nice to have toilet and shower inside unit and not outside with pool and patio. Also the barn doors to the bathroom area were not lockable so we did not feel our belongings were completely secure in our absence. Also these doors were not sealed so we dealt with a lot of mosquitoes.

Séjour magnifique au Ninamu!

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour au Ninamu. La vue est magnifique, le site est propre et comfortable et le personnel accueillant et compétant. Nous y sommes restés pour 6 nuits avec nos deux enfants pour profiter de Tahiti avant notre départ à Moorea. Je recommande fortement! Toutefois, prévoyez louer une voiture pour être autonome dans vos déplacements comme l’hôtel est en hauteur.

We had the worst experience. Bed extremely uncomfortable literally woke up with aches and pains. Pillows very high, only sheet on bed. The rooms are extremely noisy you can hear people walking, talking, we were unable to get any rest. It’s far and taxis will charge u extra for going up the hill. The owner is evil and literally only care about money. The first day we arrived, i asked if we can get breakfast and they directed me to worst breakfast buffet, i thought it was included i literally ate 2 spoons of eggs, got charged $30. My husband asked for small cake/gesture for my bday and they put cheap balloons and cake that tasted like fridge for $70 and they did not even tell him the cost until checkout. We left our luggage there to go to another island and we were going to pick them after 2 days, we get message stating they will have to charge us to store luggage at least $90 a day because we are not staying by them for the last two days. This is evil and you should never treat other people like this, this world does not revolve around money.

Lovely view! Road to property was aweful; dirt and potholes. Room was nice, but needed some maintenance attention. The pool area was very nice, and views overlooked Moorea Island. Food in restaurant was indifferent, and our meal, pizza, was over cooked. A nice place to stay as easy access to the airport. Would recomment this establishment for short stay.

Serenity with views

This is a delightful, welcoming and serene guest house located high on the hillside above Puna'auia, just south of Papeete, with a view of Moorea in the distance. My only note of caution would be the challenging, sometimes rough and very steep drive to the property but the way is well marked. The breakfast is fantastic and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend for those looking for a quiet, laid back experience.

Views are awesome with the hotel almost at the top of the hill but the last stretch or the road (500m) ir is very poor condition, lots of pot holds and trenches, really difficult to go up and down. The room was lovely and modern. Bed and pillows are super comfy. We were in the large room with the private pool which is awesome! The only not so great feature is the washroom and shower access. There is a barn door to access the bathroom which. Also gives access to the pool but it is totally open wall concept, which looks nice but are having to shower practically outdoor which is inconvenient if you are shy and it gets chilli specially at night and in the morning. Accessing the toilet is also in the same area which is vey inconvenient specially if you go in the middle of the night and if you travel with your teenagers the set up of the bathroom is not family friendly. Other than that staff is super nice! Facilities beautiful and the views are fantastic!

View was spectacular. Bathroom super unique. Nice private pool, but it was too cool for my taste. I like it hot and it was normal pool temp- but thats really my problem. Staff was extremely helpful, kind, available.

Ocean view room is amazing!

Ninamu Pearl was perfect for our family. The ocean view room with plunge pool was such a beautiful and unique start to our trip on Tahiti. You definitely need a car for this accommodation as it’s up a steep road, but completely worth it for the view alone.
