The property was clean and maintained well. The free internet was almost not usable,you get connect for 3-5 minutes before dropping out. The rooms are very dated and in need of upgrading and repair. Our 3rd night our room had water on the floor and sheets after a rain storm. Called no one came for almost an hour. The next day went down stairs and front desk and guest services are completely clueless of customer service and solving issues. Manager was not available to speak with me and a assistant manage came over and was just as useless as the rest. Entertainment was not good it had no real variety very night was 1 hour of dance music than 1 hour of games and than the disco. Restaurants/food was good 4 different restaurants and a buffet. As for an Irish coffee from the same restaurant and got it made 3 different way in 3 tries. The bar tenders are free flowing with the cheap liquor but not every drink made the same way amazing you order a drink and depending on the bar tender how it made. Also no pool bar just and FYI. Spa was very good had s couples massage and was relaxing and great.

The beach was beautiful and the food was very good for an all-inclusive resort. We had fun and our stay was great - the staff accommodated us well. The drinks weren't the best I've ever had, but again this was kind of expected at an all-inclusive, and some of the staff entertainment was not the best but that wasn't why we were there so it was fine.

A very honest review.. you will want to read

Pros: The beach was very nice & it was clean but the vendors on the beach were VERY annoying.
Cons: The plumbing in the room. We had problems at least 3 times over our 5 day stay.
Location: The location is very country outside the hotel village there's not much to do. But I did go to the Waterfall excursion it was very nice and fun!
I am a person who never leaves reviews but I want to let people know before booking this hotel before they feel like they have wasted their money like I have. I stayed here from 3/12-3/16/18. This hotel is literally for people that are 50+. I am 20 years old and so was the person I went with and we felt very left out and found ourselves bored! Of course, we enjoyed the pool and beach and made the best of it but it is a very small resort and not very fun. The rooms were nice and clean but the plumbing HORRIBLE! The person I went with had to go back to the room to get his wallet and he found that the toilet had overflowed and the whole bathroom was soaked. The shower has no door so when you shower the bathroom floods too. The food places are not good. The only good place was the buffet. At the restaurant the portion sizes are very small and the food not even good. The bar was okay but drinks were not mixed well. And what really set me off about this hotel is that our last night it rained and our room flooded. We were on the first floor so all the water had come through the CLOSED sliding doors and flooded our room. We went to the reception desk and asked what we can do and they said nothing cause no other rooms were available and this "never happened before" .. so you're gonna tell me on a tropical island you never got rain before? Yeah no, but to conclude I have been very honest with this review and I will NOT return to this hotel. Felt like a waste!

Very clean but that's about it

It was ok when we got there even though the pic online shows differently.I requested a king size bed but got two beds instead.I asked for late night service a chicken sandwich got a tuna fish instead.The drinks at The Sound upstairs was horrible maybe the young lady didn't enjoy her job.Every morning you have people bugging you and talking to you when I was out here for some serious rest.The beach is beautiful but they need to limit those vendors it's annoying.The food well let's just say I got sick.The same thing EVERYDAY probably a few thing different but it's ALWAYS the same menu.Had to go to mom's house to eat real food.The room should have been more romantic for it is an all adults.It was all in white sheets the room could have been decorated nicely it really didn't turn me on.The only beautiful was the bathroom and the balcony.The music was horrible I didn't come to DR from NY to listen to Drake or any old school music so me and my partner party elsewhere outside the hotel.As a cook the food was cold and I am pretty sure it wasn't at it right temperature.And the receptionist at the front desk well no smiles when I got there up to when I left will they see me again...NOPE I have plans for other hotels next yr..So if I didn't get pregnant while I was out there trusssst me it wasn't my man fault! It the turn off rooms and bad stomach aches heading to the bathroom..I was better off staying at mom house nothing like home sweet home but this is my opinion so enjoy
