How this hotel has a four star rating is beyond me. Rooms are old and bathroom was completely rundown - really bad. No toilet paper roller, so the toilet paper was set on the back of the toilet. Chipped tile everywhere, old grungy toilet and sinks. I don't think a thing has been done to upgrade this place since it was built. The first (and only) night we were there there were so many ants in the bathroom and coming into the bedroom that we had to put everything up off the floor. The pools, which look so clean in the photos, are not. I wouldn't swim in any of them - yuck. "Balconies" were narrow and had rusted railings and old, weathered, uncomfortable chairs on them. We booked this place for 10 days but left after the first night and moved on to a MUCH nicer hotel for less money.

Hotel was gorgeous, impeccable and very well located. The service was excelente and their restaurant has very fresh and organic food. I can’t wait to stay there again!

This is a nice, well kept, older property. It is just across the road from the beach, and near many restaurants. It has a nice in-house restaurant itself.

Lovely smaller pristine beachfront hotel.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Front desk personnel .
Location: Easy walk to town along the beach or opposite direction to the surfing area, which does have dangerous rip tides. Short cab ride to smaller safer bea
The junior suite was large, airy and had traditional Mexican decor, a balcony with small ocean view, large terrace for guests to sit out and enjoy the sunset and an excellent fish/vegetarian with that same spectacular view of beach, ocean and sunset. Two swimming pools, friendly service staff , especially the maids and room service staff -an easy place to be. .
