Lovely hotel

Welcoming, friendly reception staff. Spacious, clean room. Breakfast was good, I also thought the decor in the dining room was well thought out. Lovely pool on the roof, that caught the sun. Handy for the historical town centre and sea front. Would recommend.

Great location, right in the heart of town. Staff are all very cheerful and friendly. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Very nice pool terrace on the roof top.

The hotel was well situated for the old town square and waterfront. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Hotel was very nice and the staff were excellent without being overbearing. Breakfast was really good, but possibly needed some variation at times. I made use of the sun terrace and pool on the roof area, which was generally quiet and easy to relax. Only negative was the noisy music from the nearby open air night club especially around the weekend. Airport transfers are easy using the No.343 airport bus which you can get off about 5 mins from the hotel. Overall it was an excellent stay and a big thank you to the staff.

A beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Fantastic location especially if you are looking for a local experience. If you are driving in, parking is tough close to the hotel so please be prepared for that. Another surprise: the very warm bedroom and bathroom. Remember no ac here, just a fan. I got a 2nd fan and it solved the issue. The staff is just amazing, always smiling and ready to help. Looking forward to our next stay!

Nice place to stay, great location

I was there back in February this year - forgot to leave a comment - and my overall stay was great. The staff was very helpful and smily (like most people in Puerto de La Cruz actually), the room was clean and that pool on the roof, a real + ! I traveled solo for a last minute trip and chose this hotel because of its proximity to the city center and most of the landmarks. I wasn't disappointed, I got to walk to almost everywhere in Puerto de La Cruz which was on my list (Playa Jardin, Lago Martianez, etc.) - except for Teide volcano of course ;) (a must see by the way!) Close to the main bus station and nicely located for taxis too - if you want to travel to the next door cities (I recommend Playa Bollullo). Only negative point: There is no isolation at all. You hear everything coming from other people's room and from the street until late. I could hear my neighbour's TV and the loud lady being on the phone as clear as if they were in my own room - despite having my own TV on! After a long day out it may be bothering if you want to rest. So bring your hearplugs! And you can still ask the members of staff at the reception to call your noisy neighbours if needed, they'll gently ask them to lower it a bit, they are very helpful. I recommend this hotel if you're there to visit and walk a lot + for the rooftop's pool which has an amazing view and is so peaceful.

This was an amazing Hotel, great location and the staff were fantastic. This is the first time I have stayed somewhere that the staff care so much and are so helpful. They made are stay the best and I want to thank them. Room was clean, I would say the the front rooms can be noisy at night so maybe think about the back rooms if you don't like noise. Parking was ok when you got use to it, as there are lots of free places but you may find a small walk back to the hotel. There were fantastic range of shops and places to eat. You can walk to loro parque which is a must see. They guys at the hotel booked the tickets for us. If you don't want to get a car then contact the hotel they can arrange transfers at a great price. There is a fantastic vegetarian restaurant called limon which is amazing a must try. Renting a car this we did with expida I would say do it yourself and don't use gold car they just want money of you and car was bad. I would book cicar on there web page before you go. What more can I say this was a fantastic place of you want to experience the less commercial side of the island. This hotel was modern and just fantastic made us feel like family and I would stay again. It's a must we miss you guys already.

I went for long weekend trip. The hotel nice and is clean and staff excellent. The roortop pool is nice and the location is excellwent for resturants, bars and beach. The hotel is excellent value for price, cleaness, staff and location. I would definetly go back when going Tenerife again.

Fantastic hotel in the cultural heart of town

Had an amazing stay in the heart of Puerto del la cruz, tucked away from the resort this hotel is truly in the cultural center of the town. A clean and modern room and great shower. Fantastic views from its rooftop pool. I Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying again.

The Perfect Stay

We had an amazing vacation and since we had a room facing a wall it says A LOT I still had a wonderful stay. Location is perfect in the lower Puerto de is Cruz, just off Plaza del Charco. Rooms are fresh, beds all new and comfortable. We slept well and I had no problem tucking the little one into bed at 8 pm. Bathroom is spacious and housekeeping works well. Breakfast area and reception area is bright and calm, but I don't recommend you sleep in as much will be out by then. Staff is helpful and knows good English. The pool area is small. That is actually a plus as it makes the sun panels sufficient enough to heat it to a somewhat comfortable temperature. The roof top sun- and pool area is really nice and certainly gives the hotel that little extra. I can gladly recommend this hotel and would certainly go back there myself. There are a few things to mention and possibly sort out. As the rooms on the lower floors facing the wall (book higher floors or with balcony!) gets little light it gets damp to an extent where for example towels won't dry sufficiently. This could be sorted with dehumidifiers in affected areas. Also I'd like notices put up about closing bathroom doors as the steem can set the fire alarm off (quite the wake-up call in the middle of the night!). And it would be nice if breakfast was refilled also with warm items during breakfast hours. We had a really nice and relaxing stay and I'd like to be back one day. Thank you!

My Husband and I have just returned from a weeks break staying in this lovely small and friendly hotel. The hotel is situated in the old town. Very central and handy for all shopping, dining and lovely walks. Lovely small rooftop pool. We had room only, but did try the buffet breakfast one morning. Not a huge selection, but sufficient for the size of the hotel. What was provided was good quality produce. Selection of breads, pastries, cereals,yoghurts. Selection of teas, coffees juice etc. Cooked meats cold meats ,cheese, salad, and an omelette station where they make your choice of what ever you want. Rooms are really clean. We had requested a room with a balcony, but would advise if you want peace and quiet, go for a room at the back of the hotel, as there is a couple of night club/ bars across the road at front of hotel. The staff were fantastic very helpful and friendly. A special mention to one young lady on reception called Blanca. She helped us with local bus numbers,areas of interest to visit, and we booked a lovely excursion with her and her recommendation was spot on. We had a lovely day. She also went out of her way to find us a change of room, when we had a sleepless night because of the loud music from the bar/ night club. We didn’t even complain or ask to be shifted, she offered. We give her 🙌🙌 . She is excellent at her job. And definitely will stay at My City Hotel, when we visit next time.

Overall a very clean hotel. Very nice staff. Unfortunately the room we booked was noise as the balcony doors were not sufficient to keep out the street noice wich went on till early hours of the morning. We payed more for the superior room wich was smaller on the top of the hotel wich was slightly quieter but still couldn't sleep due to loud partys at 2am till 5am on sat and sun. Room was cold as bathroom window was pached up with tinfoil. Breakfasts was good but only found out on the fourth day that we could order hot food as no one had told us this was available.

Fabulous hotel

Fabulous hotel just minutes away from the main square and the bus station. The seafront was no more than five minutes walk. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. Everything was very new and spotlessly clean. There was free wifi, TV, mini fridge and plenty of storage space. There was a walk in shower in the lovely clean bathroom. Breakfast was available but we didn't have it this time. The reception area was equipped with a coffee pod machine which was a really welcome touch. Staff were friendly and helpful and very cheerful. There was a pool on the roof and plenty of singers available. A great place to stay.
