Do not recommend

The staff was very unfriendly, not hospitable, and unable to answer simple questions. Our room was not clean and the shower bottles were all completely empty.

Season just opened under relatively new management. Due to that, upon arrival we learned that the restaurant was not open the late afternoon we arrived - in the middle of a raging Nor’easter. Would have been nice to know that before arriving so we could plan to have food in. There seems to be a disconnect between front desk, kitchen & serve staff (& staff in general) about what is available for services or not. Nobody seemed to know? Coordination between staff & management needs to improve. I wish the new management good luck. Really like this old, unique place.

Front desk upon check in was lacking and disorganized. Room was clean. View was amazing. Communication from hotel via daily text was nice. Security was subpar, main entrances were never locked, back door to room key entrance did not work as we got locked out only to find that they were aware of this and didn't inform us. Key cards to room stopped working on multiple occasions and had to be reprogrammed. Bathroom was very tight with a mini sink. Knitpicking aside it was an overall great stay and we would do it again.

It had not been cleaned for the season yet. There was a large amount of sand and gravel on the floor in the shower and the bathroom lights didn’t work. I’m sure it’s all fixed by the time later in the season comes.

The Inn has lovely historic murals and artifacts and sits right next to the monument for the Pilgrims' landing. Room was very comfortable and a standard room size.

As a faithful Cape Cod visitor, I was looking forward to staying at the Provincetown Inn during a trip in late May. The photos on the website painted a charming and inviting picture of the property, and I was excited to experience it firsthand. Unfortunately, a forecasted Nor’easter forced us to make the difficult decision to leave the Cape before spending our first night. While we understand that weather disruptions are no one’s fault, the hotel’s response was particularly disappointing. The staff and manager showed little to no interest in working with us on a refund or even offering a credit for a future stay. We were informed that the hotel has a strict no-refund policy, and that was the end of the discussion. In today’s travel environment—especially in a region where weather can be unpredictable—some measure of flexibility and empathy goes a long way. Sadly, that was lacking here. The inn also did not live up to the presentation on its website; it looks far better in photos than in person. Regrettably, I won’t be returning to the Provincetown Inn and would caution other travelers to carefully review the cancellation policy and manage expectations when booking.

The views from this hotel were amazing. Unfortunately though the hotel wasn’t well up kept. A lot of the listed amenities were not in service and things didn’t seem to be working. The door key codes needed battery changed, windows wouldn’t open and shut properly, bathroom toiletry pumps were broken, restrooms were out of service, atm wasn’t working, shops and barber shop were closed or at least no one was there to help us. There is absolutely no ventilation in the bathroom so there was a bit of mold. After showering we used a towel to wipe the moisture from the floor and it turned brown. Our room was just gross and dirty. The floors were gross and stuff would stick to the bottom of feet. We also found what looked like rodent droppings. When we asked the front desk about housekeeping doing another sweep through they said house keeping only comes if you stay for more than three days. Even though all these things were out of service or unavailable you’re still charged a resort fee at the end of the stay. The views were nice but for sure stay somewhere else.
