We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay here. There are several restaurants within walking distance, the beach is about a 5 minute walk and the condo was very clean and well equipped. Check in/out was very easy and communication was excellent. Would certainly stay here again.

Nice property, good location
La Vista Azul is close to Turtle Cove Marina where there are several convenient restaurants. There's also a close beach area within walking distance that is much more private than the main Grace Bay area. Really enjoyed our trip and Devereaux was an excellent host.
This place was great, very well located and affordable. Deveraux was super friendly, as others mentioned. Responded quickly and gave us tons of tips (e.g. beaches to visit with our toddler, places to eat). He even had some sandcastle toys kids can play with - our toddler loved them! The condo is very comfortable and is set up nicely if you want to stay in and cook.

Fantastic all around experience !
Deveraux was a great host. He picked us up from the airport and gave us a run down of the whole island. Accommodations were exactly as deceived, if not better. The view from condo was perfect, the pools were great and the location was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend!!

Wonderful!
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we had a wonderful time! Deveraux was a terrific host. He even picked us up from the ferry terminal and took us to the grocery store! The unit was spacious, clean, and quiet. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone that is looking for a quiet getaway close to the beach!

The host was great with communicating. He responded quickly. Unfortunately, the unit had hair all over the floor from past guests and there were obviously dirty dishes in the cabinet. The towels weren't clean. Only old and used sponges were available in the kitchen. For our "welcome gift" we received one roll of toilet paper and 2.5 (yes one was half empty) bottles of water. After communicating this to the host he sent someone to clean. Unfortunately, the remedy was mopping the old hair around the unit and adding a pile of dishwasher pods to the counter, so I washed the dishes myself...great start to a vacation. The coffee pot was missing the pot, which the host commented he was waiting for a replacement to arrive. He did offer to bring another older one the next day if we wanted. Additionally, one of the patio chairs was rusted through and unusable. Make sure you bring your own salt, pepper, trash bags and toilet paper, as this is the first VRBO we've stayed in that didn't include those basic items. While these were the negatives, the bed was perfect!! Using our own linens from home, we slept very well.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo is just like the picture. Lovely views from the big sunny patio. A well equipped kitchen, just bring condiments if you like to do a little cooking. Very good restaurants just a short walk away, Baci (great pizza), Sharkbite (almond encrusted grouper) Mango Reef. A short walk to a beautiful turquoise ocean, great for snorkeling. A very clean, well maintained property.
My best to Deveraux. Thanks for making our holiday very enjoyable.

paradise
The resort is beautiful, safe, clean and modern. It was very easy to get to from the airport. We rented a car but walking was still an option to reach restaurants such as Mango Reef, Tiki Hut and Green Bean. The beach access was very close, again walking distance about five minutes. We thought the beach at this area was the best because the surf was calm and not crowded at all. To the west of Turtle Cove the beach is rocky and to the East are the Beaches resorts which are carnival-like and crowded. Deveraux greeted us at the airport. He is amazing...very helpful and only a phone call away. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect experience!
So many wonderful things to say about the property, the house and the host Deveraux!!! Even though we rented a car Deveraux still came to meet us at the car rental and took us to his beautiful condo. He helped us get set up and he was always a simple phone call away. The resort is centrally located. Just a short 5 minute walk to the most quiet and secluded beach and just a 2 minute drive away from the beautiful Bight park. The swimming pools and Jacuzzi were just the perfect thing and the view is simply magnificent.
I immensely enjoyed my stay at the La Vista Azul resort and highly recommend it to anyone that wants a perfect trip to Turks and Caicos!

A six star review, 5 for the villa and one more for the owner!
Right from the start Deveraux was almost real time with his responses, so we got all our questions answered right away, I don't know how he does it! His pick up and drop off service was wonderful for a couple of people that had never been to T&C before, it made us feel stress free right away. The Villa was perfect for our needs, well maintained and as the other reviews have mentioned everything we could have asked for. The view from the Villa and the rest of the property is outstanding. Better yet even in the busy season the property was laid back and not crowded. We really found the Turtle Cove area to be great, from the beach to the restaurants, and we preferred it to the over developed Grace Bay resort end.
You can't go wrong on this one.

Excellent & friendly.
Devereux was very accomodating, friendly and a a great host. He met us at the airport and we followed him to the resort, provided us with information of the island which is extremely helpful in knowing places to visit, eat and overall being comfortable with getting around the island. He told us about a local event held every Thursday, “Fish Fry” which our kids had lots of fun. Lots of food, local artisans, entertainment and my kids favorite, pineapple & coconut drinks made with the actual shell of the fruit. The condo was clean and lots of amenities on site, 2 pools, hot tub, gym, restaurant, main office if you need assistance & my kids loved the ice cream shop on the premises with their homemade Gelato; delicious. Would I come back here; absolutely!

Description needs to be updated
The description in the offer is deceiving because some things were outdated. Check in instructions are not described and there was no updating on the day of arrival. We were lucky to catch someone in one of the offices who loan us a local phone so we could call the host and he did come to help us get in. The description advertises a 35 minute massage for a 6 day stay but that was is longer done. Beach chairs were rusting and one broke the minute I sat on it. I reported it but it was never replaced during our stay which meant it wasn't pleasant to go the beach without a beach chair. Location was beautiful.

Amazing service and great value
My family of 4 stayed at Deveraux's condo and we were so impressed with his service. He truly went above and beyond, from picking us up at the airport, to taking my husband grocery shopping to helping us arrange a car. Any question we had was answered very quickly. He is truly a host extraordinaire!
The location is great! It is not in the heart of Grace Bay but that area, with resorts, and some shopping is only a 6 to 7 minute drive. We went a couple of times but wasn't overly impressed. We actually loved the Turtle Cove Area because it offered great snorkeling... The Alexandria National Park is walking distance and is the best place for snorkeling...as well as a nice beaches (about a 7 minute walk away) and the Turtle Cover Marina which is lovely and has many restaurants, Green Bean, Bacci, etc. We became very fond of the area, and when we return we would chose Turtle Cove (and Deveraux's condo) again.
La Vista Azul offered two lovely pools, a hot tub, ample parking, clean common areas, and spacious modern suits. If you want to explore Turks and Caicos but you don't want to spend $500 a night on a hotel...then this is the place for you. Enjoy.

This listing at LVA was excellent. It is an individually owned room in the resort and it is a great value. It is spacious, has a large balcony and amenities like a washer and dryer and fully equipped kitchen. The property owner is extremely friendly and helpful and very quick to respond. He gave recommendations as far as things to do, places to eat and even helped with a rental car on multiple islands.
The resort overall isn’t my favorite that I’ve stayed at as it is a little bit of a walk to the beach, but it’s beautiful once you get there. As for other rooms at the resort listed directly through the hotel, they are smaller and do not have all the amenities, so I would ensure verifying the type of room you are getting. This listing is definitely the one to pick!! Overall, LVA is extremely clean, quiet, and fairly central to everything, though I would definitely recommend a rental car for your stay if you’d like to see other parts of the island and different beaches.
Small con, there were some beach chairs and umberellas in the room but the quality was not there. Hopefully they will upgrade those in the near future.
Overall, definitely recommend THIS ROOM at LVA.

Great island value
Followed the great reviews for this property and booked this place for a last minute trip to Provo. Location is perfectly situated due west of Grace Bay before Turtle Cove, and was out of the resort hype with a beautiful, low key vibe. We had a rental car and the island is easy to navigate and to reach all corners with a quick drive. Parking for this unit was readily available in the back (then walk one level down) or for a quick midday pit-stop you can park at the resort entrance near the restaurant and gelateria (then burn off the gelato with a walk up a few levels). There are two pools-I know one was at least heated, and very clean—and a relatively small hot tub. An outdoor shower and freshwater hose is near the pool to rinse off ocean salt and sand. Several restaurants are in walking distance, with safe sidewalks even for nighttime.
The unit itself has a beautiful veranda view towards the ocean, and, despite spending much of the day on the beaches, the view is priceless for morning coffee sunrises and yoga. Kitchen is decently stocked to make breakfast at home, and there were even coffee filters for the coffee maker. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with toilet paper and linens. Loved that this unit provided beach chairs and umbrellas (and kids sand toys), which were perfect to tote to whatever beach we fancied for the day. Smith reef, with some of the best snorkeling on the island, is only a 5 minute walk across the street.
Deveraux was extremely responsive with booking and coordinating, and always readily available if with questions. This property is an amazing value for the island. Thank you Deveraux for the stay!

Wonderful stay.
We stayed at this condo for four nights in February. Deveraux is a great guy, he met us at the airport, offered to take us to the grocery store, provided lots of information about the island and the Turtle Cove area and drove us to the airport for our flight to Grand Turk. The condo was clean and fairly comfortable. We both have back and neck problems and by the fourth night we were finding the bed to be a tad uncomfortable. We cooked several meals at the condo and did find a few items lacking ( strainer, foil, sugar, salt and pepper, adequate dish towels) but no big deal. There is a dishwasher but no soap so bring some from home for your stay. We made use of the washer and dryer in the condo and the beach chairs and cooler. The condo is very quiet. The balcony is large with chairs and a lounger, but not a table and chairs. To see the ocean one must stand as the wall facing the water is a solid wall, rather than railing. Stunning blue waters, clean sand and water are just a seven minute walk away from the condo and we walked the beach and went for a swim several times a day. We also walked along the beach to the busy part of Grace Bay. The resort has two pools, one heated, one not, and a tiny hot tub. Parking is available fairly close to this unit. Staff and fellow guests were all very friendly.
We have stayed at several VRBO condos in the US, Canada and Caribbean and I highly recommend this unit- the price is exceptional for Provo, the condo and resort are clean and comfortable, the owner is helpful and very easy to deal with.

Great Vacation!
My wife and I stayed for one week in Deveraux' condo. The condo suited our needs perfectly...it was clean, very quiet, modern appliances. Hot tub was great as well. The condo is close to snorkelling which is the main reason we came to Provo. Coral Gardens is a short drive away. And as another guest mentioned you can walk the pathway 100 metres to the right of the condo to the beach for some okay snorkelling. But our favourite spot was Smith's Reef, also very close. Drive down Bridge Road to the end. Turn left, proceed to the parking lot at the end. Walk right on the beach about 300 metres until you see the wooden steps and platform on the right. Enter the water here. Best to go at low tide.
Enjoyed the Green Bean Cafe, a five minute walk away and the Wednesday night specials at the Tiki Hut beside the cafe.
For groceries we found the Gourmet IGA (great takeout pizza) less crowded than the IGA on the Leeward Highway.
A previous review mentioned the stair climb. If you park at the back (top) of the property, it is a short walk down to the rental unit. There was always
parking available here for us.
Devereux was an excellent host. He was always easy to contact with the cell phone he lent us. We had two minor issues with the WIFI and TV and both times he corrected the problem promptly. Before we came down he responded to emails very quickly. And picked us up at the airport. Haven't had a better,
more courteous, efficient host in my experience with HomeAway or other similar sites. Would definitely return here.

great location
La Vista Azul is an immaculately maintained property. Everything is as it should be. There is a lot of greenery that adds to the ambiance, and they look after it very well. The location is perfect, if you have a car. After spending 12 days there, the first three without a car and the rest with, I would not suggest visiting Provo without one. There are too many beautiful beaches and great restaurants that you will not see if you don't have transportation. We managed to find a great beach on the south side, that was 15 minutes drive from the condo. Some days we had to share it with 2 other people, but on our last day we had it to ourselves. The water is as calm as a mountain lake, and very shallow.
There are 2 or 3 beaches within walking distance of La Vista Azul, and if it isn't too windy they can be very nice as well. There are at least 7 restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The one that stood out for us was Mango Reef. All the meals we had in Provo were very good, but Mango Reef stood out as a cut above the rest. The Thursday night fish festival at Bight Park, (a 15 minute walk) is worth a visit. There are many food and drink vendors and live music, which is enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.
We have stayed at many VRBO/HomeAway properties and I can honestly say that Devereaux is the most accommodating owner we have stayed with. Thank you Devereaux for the ride to and from the airport as well as the ride home from our first grocery trip. Devereaux offered to help us in any way possible, and backed it up with the loan of a local cell phone with his contact information so we could call him at any time. We were also given complimentary massages on the lanai of our unit, since we stayed for 12 days.
The only things we would have liked to see in the condo that weren't there, was a cork screw and salad serving bowl. Devereaux indicated that he will be providing those in the future. The resort used to provide a gas grill by the pool but for some reason that don't do so anymore. Devereuax is looking into the possibility of getting one for the private lanai.
One other thing, the beach chairs, umbrellas and small cooler provided by Devereaux are great amenities. We got a lot of use out of them.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING CONDO, LOCATION AND SERVICE!!!!
Pick this one, you won't be disappointed!! This was our first time to Turks and Caicos and also our first time renting a condo instead of a hotel and we couldn't be happier. Deveraux picked us up from the airport. He even took us to the grocery store to get groceries for our stay. He also gave us a free cell phone with a local number that we could use to make calls and encouraged us to call him if we needed anything. He helped us arrange amazing couple massages through Equilibrium Spa on the patio of the condo. Deveraux even came to give us a ride to pick up a rental car. This beautiful condo has everything you would need, including washer dryer, sleeper sofa, a safe, luxury linens, robes, stainless steel appliances, hand towels, oven mitts, ice trays, wine glasses and wine bottle opener, dishes, silverware, cookware, bake ware and even Tupperware, paper towels, dish soap, etc....all you need to bring is your food and drinks. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The layout of this condo is a great use of the space, ocean views everywhere. This condo even has everything you need for a day at the beach, beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, umbrella and a cooler for your drinks. You are very close to the beach (less than 10 minute walk). To get to the beach, you walk down to the front of the resort and cross the street and turn to your right and walk to the east (about 1/2 a block) until you see a path where there are about 3 large boulders/rocks and then walk down that path to the beach. On the beach, you can see Smith's reef in front of you and to the left. This area of Grace Bay beach is so wonderful, quiet and not crowded at all. We went down to the area on the other end of Grace Bay where the larger resorts are located and that area of the beach doesn't compare at all to the beach in front of this condo. You have a few restaurants within walking distance, Simones (located in the resort and there is a menu in the condo), The Tiki Hut, The Green Bean, Shark Bites, Baci, and Mango Reef restaurant. We didn't get to all of them, but I will say we made it to the TIki Hut twice, you cannot beat the food and service there. We started and ended every day on that large patio, over looking the ocean and star gazing at night. Many thanks for getting up so early to give us a ride back to the airport at 6:00 in the morning, your amazing hospitality and for sharing your beautiful condo with us Deveraux, our new cousin in the Caribbean!!

Very clean and comfortable....I loved this location and room 5303 was the best view and location.
Where do I begin starting from the ease of booking and communication with the owner Deveraux. The communication was Albert well
From beginning to the end of our trip. We stayed may 29-June 5 . The condo is very clean and has all the amenities you would need . 2 pools were pretty empty we had them to ourselves. Definitely need a car and you’re within a short distance to local beaches we checked out the whole island. No issues at all with the condo just a safe relaxing time especially on the balcony where I spent most late evenings. Thank you again we will hopefully return sometime soon.
Property Manager was very responsive to any/all our concerns/questions. The unit had modern furnishings and came with lots of perks/amenities. The location was central to many things.
Just a few small things to note: The bed is really soft and sleeps hot--it also has a few lumps and the plastic mattress protector makes noise when you move around. The cell phone provided did not work for us. If you're a light sleeper, you may hear occasional noises from people dragging things around the pool area which is right above the unit. And finally there are several devices in the unit that emit blue lights ( Microwave, modem, stove, etc.)--bring a sleep mask if sensitive to light.
Overall, a great stay. Please don't hesitate to book. A great value for your money.
Everything was as stated in the listing and the resort felt safe. Deveraux was very responsive and was readily available to assist if needed. The large balcony was great, we ate breakfast out there and enjoyed the view. The included massage was also a welcome bonus. The location is great and pretty much a halfway point on the island. It was about 20 minutes to either end of the island. Having the items for the beach (chairs, umbrellas, towels, cooler) was great and allowed us to visit many beaches on the island without having to worry about renting them. The closest beach, which was clean, quiet, and safe, is in walking distance. We chose to drive to avoid having to carry everything. The grocery store was also close by which was very convenient. We definitely recommend renting a car. The only con I can think of is there were a few nights that some guests were noticeably loud, but you can find that anywhere when people are enjoying their vacation. We enjoyed our time there and would not hesitate to return again in the future!
