This place is not in a part of town you want to stay. It felt like I was entering South Central LA and Ice Cube's gang from Boyz N Da Hood was gonna pop out at any turn. The house next door caving in, the dilapidated one across the street etc.
Then there came trying to check in. They gave the wrong code for the lock and then it was near impossible to get in touch with anyone. The local manager didn't return calls and I finally got the large company "Evolve" on the line and they kept saying they'd get the local manager to call me back. The trying to get Hotels.com to do anything was turning useless because since Evolve was answering them, they couldn't change my booking as they were getting "responses".
After almost 4hrs of constant phone calls, which made me miss my company dinner, I had to make other accommodations at a real hotel and Evolve finally gave me a refund. 0/10 for location, 0/10 for service. Quite literally the worst experience I've had renting a house.
If you rent this place, I hope you have a pistol license or a bullet proof vest. Good luck.
