Also Winterplace Ski Resort, and other places for those who have outdoor interest, including Mountain Lake Resort, where Dirty Dancing was filmed, coal mine tours and Tamarack filled with arts and crafts by WV artist. Weekend trip
It was a clean house on a quiet street close to Concord University. Peaceful setting. Short drive to Princeton when we wanted to eat out or shop. We had activities at the university so it was nice and close. House is as listed, older but very nice and a great place to relax and get away. Beautiful area.

The 50s House— Charming!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the 50s House. It was meticulously decorated in period style, with wonderful views of the surrounding woods. I plan to stay there again when I come back to visit friends. Thank you, Annie, for the hospitality!

This was a very clean, great little house, in a super quiet neighborhood. Complete with cozy cats and adorable wildlife. The host was friendly and had some great recommendations. Me and my girls enjoyed out trip.

Cute, close to Concord, dog friendly
Perfect place for my short visit with my daughter who’s attending Concord university. Close to campus, could walk to it. I drove my daughter back and forth but it’s only .75 miles away. In a neighborhood with a small parking pad which was great for me but would be hard for multiple cars. There are cats that were fed twice daily that live on back porch which is fine for some but not very convenient if you bring a dog, or want to enjoy the porch, I’m not a huge cat fan so felt it took away from me enjoying the back porch as the cats and there stuff take over. Cute, little house for the perfect visit with my daughter. Worked perfectly for us. Owner was very sweet and checked on us multiple times when she was there feeding the cats.

Back To The 50s Guest House
Reminded so much of my grandparents' and my home growing up! Loved the squeek in the flooring, too. Thank you for the brownies and soft drinks. Water was hot and plentiful. Beds were comfortable. Will try to stay again during our travels North.
