Title: Beautiful inside, but a total hassle to get into!Rating: (3/5)My BFF and I had a mixed experience here. On the plus side, the inside of the house was spotless and very nice! However, the outside was a completely different story.Getting inside each night was a total disaster. On our first night (around 11 PM), the code didn't work, and neither did the backup code. We had to call the host a few times before he answered to unlock it. On the 2nd night we had to request a physical key.Because it took so long, we were constantly fighting off bugs at the door. It got so bad that we had to start coming home with the porch lights off just to sneak inside without bringing a swarm with us. We still ended up killing about 10 bugs inside, and found ants in the kitchen on our last morning.The deck was also a bummer—there was a wasp nest over the door, weeds growing through the wood, and the table and chairs were dirty and put away, so we couldn't even enjoy it. Also, if you like watching TV in bed to relax like I do, be aware there’s only one TV in the main area.If they get a pest control service and fix the lock, this would be a 4-star stay, but for now, it's a 3.
