Lakeside cottage in beautiful Prince Edward County

Spend a relaxing vacation at this spacious and comfortable waterfront home overlooking beautiful Prinyers Cove. Approximately 20 minutes east of Picton the area offers a quiet, scenic base from which to explore PEC.

Nearby you'll find Fifth Town Artisan Cheese Company, as well as several wineries. Take some time to visit the natural wonder of Lake-on-the-Mountain and marvel at the spectacular views of the Glenora Ferry crossing the bay below. And what vacation would be complete without a trip to the Sandbanks Provincial Park; a beach pass is included with your rental.

The Cottage
The cottage comprises three bedrooms and 11/2 baths. A large living and dining room offers ample room for relaxing with family and friends., while in the kitchen you will find everything you need for preparing meals.

From the living room you walk out to the large deck where you can relax and enjoy one of the many excellent County wines while enjoying the view of the Cove. The deck also has a BBQ and outdoor dining set for cooking and eating al fresco on those hot summer nights.

At the waterfront you will find a large dock with swimming ladder where you can enjoy sunning and swimming. The dock is suitable for mooring smaller boats; there is a municipal boat launch close by for larger craft.

At the day's end , enjoy roasting marshmallows around the campfire where the only sound you will hear is the lapping of the waves.

While you're staying in Prince Edward County, be sure to check out the other attractions including the many wineries and vineyards throughout this designated wine region, picnic at one of the many local beaches; relax at a spa; shop and browse in the boutiques, artisan and antique shops; dine out at a fine restaurant or pub; play a round of golf; tour the County on bicycle or take a hike at the Dunes.

Well-Equipped for Both Activities & Relaxation
The cottage was extremely well equipped and comfortable to stay in. Not only was there equipment for kayaking, beach-going with a provided pass to nearby Sandbanks Provincial Park, and other water activities, but the living spaces, deck chairs, and kitchen were more than functional. All the little touches (from the provision of extra wide-brimmed sun hats, to a Sodastream, to a working fire pit, to a huge variety of dried spices for cooking with, and to two large shade umbrellas - one for the dock and one for the deck) made our yearly cottage reunion an extremely home-y stay. We would have easily felt good about doubling the length of our stay, if we didn’t need to get back to work! Our host, Kathryn, was extremely responsive and accommodating, and the cottage was located in an area that was a beautiful and quiet place to unwind. It was spacious enough for both group gatherings and individual time. We would love to stay again!

Celebrating my husbands 65th birthday.
It was an awesome weekend celebrating my husband’s 65th birthday. Some of our family came from Pulaski New York to join us to celebrate. the cottage was very clean, well equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. The view was fantastic!! We all agree and highly recommend this property!!!

Beautiful waterfront cottage located in a quite and peaceful cove of Prince Edward County We enjoyed all aspects of our surroundings, from the large dock overlooking the water to the amble outdoor living space on the balcony to the multiple areas offered inside the cottage. A nice distance to various towns to explore all parts of the county.
