We arrived and there is no reception
There seemed to be some sort of event on so we walked around for five minutes until we were told you sit in a sofa and wait for the manager to check you in.
Check in took approx 10 mins due to the manager dealing with some unhappy guests. Not hit fault but odd no reception for such a big place
The room was small but lovely, there was no shower gel though so worth taking some.
The most disappointing part was the breakfast, we had opted not to include it when we booked but our friends who live locally said they would come join us.
We booked a table but no table was set up for us on arrival.
The buffet had pretty much ran out and we waited a good ten mins before anyone offered us a drink or to order breakfast from the menu.
The coffee machine was broken so only americanos on offer, when asking for hot milk the lady jokingly said only if you want it microwaved
The eggs and salmon came without toast so we then waited ten mins for toast so the food was cold
The avacado on toast was actually on bread and was very soggy
In the time we were sat there bearing in mind there were only 2 other tables everything was very slow
We got the bill at £25 per person but I questioned this as we had stayed and it said £16 per person for those staying but apparently that’s only if you book it with the stay, disappointing they didn’t tell us
The whole room was covered in flies and dirty glasses all outside from day before
For a stay that cost us £185 very bad
