As my wife is allergic to mushrooms the evening staff went Through the menu to ensure she was safe. At breakfast the waiting staff provided her with her own serving utensils to avoid contamination and offered to cook a special batch oh hash browns as they were next to the mushrooms. Great work and customer service

Dog friendly overnight stop

Overnight stop with our dog travelling up to the Lake District. Warm welcome at check in. Room very comfortable and clean. Breakfast really good quality. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Another great night's sleep!

Great nights sleep as usual. Plentiful and delicious breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of drinks in bedroom. Hot shower. On ground floor this time and very quiet. Air conditioner didn't work and felt temperature in room drop at night so we needed heat. Staff gave us a convection heater which did the trick. Will use again. Great service from all staff.

Very pleasant

Great place for a dog friendly overnight stay. Quiet, clean, good breakfast. The only complaint was the room decor and that in the halls to the rooms was a little dated. Will definitely stay there again.

The Hotel was lovely. The staff were extremely nice and very helpful. My only complaint would be the Air Conditioning. It can be turned up, but not down past 18°. We now live in a world that is dominated by global warming. Rooms need to be mych cooler especially in heat that is in the late 20° - early 30°. Staff should be allowed to lower the temperature if necessary. There would be no need for fans.
