Safe parking, nice location, easy to walk to downtown. Fun historical building. No hot water. The bed was so hard we both had sore hips and shoulders. Difficult to sleep as it was cold and only a tiny space heater and thin extra blanket. Felt "short sheeted", couldn't pull the bedding up around the shoulders. Despite a king size bed your feet hung off if you positioned to have covers on your shoulders. The pillows were an inch thick and severely hard. Will not return.

Great Experience

This old hotel was a great experience! A little uneven floors ( I have vertigo), hot water problems with all of us numerous guests trying to get a hot shower at the same time, but overall it was a great locations with lots of stuff around it. Very comfortable bed!

The air conditioning didn’t work. The person from the front desk thought she fixed it twice. The desk closes at 5:00, so when it quit the 3rd time I turned it off. The lighting was poor and I was unable to read. The TV system was something I never saw before. I couldn’t operate it. Since the desk was closed I couldn’t get help. I liked the location and it was quiet, as I requested. The decor was charming, but in much need of repair. I would have been delighted with the tub/shower 20 years ago, but I couldn’t use it because it was so deep, had a step and nothing to hold on to.
