Incredible Stay in Praiano

The villa is exactly as advertised. The pictures left no surprises. If anything, the actual view is better than the pictures. The location was also perfect. It was a short walk to the main town square for breakfast, a fairly short walk to most restaurants, and an easy walk to the beach. If you're visiting Positano or Amalfi, be sure to take the water taxi rather than the bus - it is a fantastic experience. We were able to book them last minute through Sabilla, which has a stand at the beach.I should also note that Luca pretty much saved our trip. British Air lost our bags, and Luca had a contact at the airport that was able to secure our luggage from a later flight. Luca drove half way to the airport to meet him and collect our bags at about 10:00 PM. He went way above and beyond for us, and we are very appreciative for his help!

Love at 1st sight

When I first this place on the web, it looked charming.This was the wrong word to use. This place was absolutely amazing, beautifully decorated, spacious and with spectacular views of the coast from every bedroom! It fit our family of 5 beautifully. Our host Luca was great. He provided us with all the information we needed and was available to us if we needed information and/ or recommendations. Thank you Luca, for always answering my questions, and setting everything up so my family and I would have such a wonderful time. We will be back! Claudia

Enjoyable stay at Palazzo Rocco

We had a good stay at Palazzo Rocco. Stunning views, serene surroundings, comfortable rooms. Overall we had an enjoyable time. Unfortunately the Wi-Fi coverage in the villa is below par - that should be an easy fix though. We could not get a signal in a couple rooms and other areas in the Villa had a weak signal.

Excellent location, fantastic villa for group family stay

The property actually surpassed our expectations in terms of size and location. Fantastic balconies with outdoor furniture for eating and relaxing which had afternoon shade which was great, given the weather was hot. All rooms inside had air conditioning and the bedrooms are large. The house worked really well for our group of 9. The hosts were excellent and very helpful in co-ordination and organising transport and pre-booked activities for our group. Praiano itself has an excellent internal bus system that takes you around as well as easy access to the SITA bus to travel to and from other towns on the Amalfi Coast. I can't speak highly enough about the villa and the hosts.

Escape on the Amalfi Coast

This villa is absolutely beautiful. It has the most amazing views from every room. The balcony has a sitting area, table for meals, and hot tub. The location in Praiano is an escape from the crowds but also offers grocery, restaurant, and a bus stop. Luca was the property manager who was onsite and available to help from the time of arrival to departure. I would highly recommend this property if you want a escape on the Amalfi Coast.

Lovely property with amazing hosts. Property was immaculate and the hosts took care of our every need. Our only disappointment was that the jacuzzi was not working. Host had a serviceman over immediately but was unable to fix it. Other than that, everything was perfect.

A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth!

Our experience was fantastic from the time Luca greeted us in the square to the time we reluctantly left. The place was spotlessly clean, and the fixtures and furnishings were in excellent condition. The rooms inside of the villa are as beautiful as pictures on VRBO show them to be, but the terrace and the views from it are even better! I don't think it's possible to capture just how amazing the setting is in a picture. The Wifi was a little spotty in the blue and purple bedrooms, but that was really just a tiny inconvenience. We loved every minute of our stay and can't wait to return!

Outstanding villa on the Amalfi Coast

Villa Sunshining in Love was everything we hoped for. The villa was clean, spacious and gorgeous. Perfect for our party of three couples. Each of us had our own private bedroom and en-suite bath, each well appointed and comfortable. From the moment I booked the facility, Francesca did all she could to ensure our holiday was a success. She was responsive and helpful suggesting excursions and arranging transportation for us. Luca was also very helpful when we got on site recommending local restaurants and offering us amazing cappuccinos at his cafe up the hill. Praiano was perfect, in the heart of things but not overly commercial or crowded. It is an authentic Italian village, still unspoiled. One night we were treated to a delicious meal prepared in our villa by Tomasso, a retired chef who lives in the village. Meeting Tomasso and learning from him as he prepared our dinner was a highlight of our vacation. I would highly recommend this villa.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The location is great, quiet and very close to Positano. The villa is new and modern, with all the amenities you can ask for. Especially loved the cool pool tub. Wonderful restaurants within easy walking distance. All communication with Francesca was superb. Luca was a great host while we were there. Would definitely rent there again next time we visit the Amalfi Coast!!

A piece of fabulousness on the Amalfi Coast!

The villa was exceptional and exceeded our expectations! Francesca communicated with me for all our requirements being a group of friends of a certain age who have been friends for over 30 years and traveling in from UK and USA! She was brilliant and no detail was left out. Luca was always on hand to help us from check in to helping with transfers and bags. Francesca helped with transfers and recommendations for things to do in such a short time - 5 days was definitely not long enough! Everything was pre-booked and when we had to change arrangements due to weather this was also managed without a problem. We took Villa Sunshining and Villa Red moon between 8 of us and there was more than enough space - the rooms were all beautiful and we felt like we had stepped into a movie set. Being girls, having enough bathrooms was important and plenty of terrace space to chill out after heavy days out. Be warned - you do need climbing legs as there are a lot of steps on the Amalfi coast! However, the views were stunning and towns so pretty. Capri is a 'must do' as is Pompeii - we wished we had enough time to have done a whole day in Pompeii - you need that. Shopping was incredible and Italian leather and style is to die for! We liked Sorrento best for shopping. Go to the Wine shop / grocery store at the bottom the steps of the Villa as they have cheaper wine than the grocery store at the top of the hill - but they have better provisions! We also did a cookery lesson with Tommasso in the villa and had a wonderful dinner that evening and since then, some of the girls have cooked the recipes at home! We all want to come back with our husbands as we loved everything about the Amalfi Coast and This Villa was the icing on the cake. We had a wonderful celebration of special birthdays, flighting cancer and just being together Thank you Francesca and Valeria for your help and allowing us to come to your wonderful home. We look forward to coming back! Arrivederci!

This property is absolutely amazing! 5 star all the way. Beautiful villa, fabulous amenities and view, and both Francesca (owner) and Luca (agent) are so warm and accommodating. We were truly blessed to be able to stay at such a fantastic villa with such gracious hosts. While there, be sure to try out the delicious chocolate croissants in Luca's shop abova the villa or see the gorgeous pottery below the villa. Highly recommend you stay here!

An amazing experience

We were fortunate to be able to spend a number of weeks at Palazzo Rocco. Overall our experience with the villa and all the lovely people associated with the property was amazing. From helping with understanding the various towns, boating, beaches, the best restaurants, wine, food, scooters, taxi,....we received the best help all the time. The villa is perfect for large groups, as we had numerous friends and family visit over the weeks and we were lucky to be just two people for a while also. The rooms are amazing and give plenty of space for everyone to relax if they want some privacy. The deck is amazing and large enough again to give everyone their own space and super comfortable for group breakfasts, lunches and dinners. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was just right. We added a few things to the pots and pans for the pleasure of the next family :) The location of the villa is great being in Praiano....central to all the places you want to go on the coast and all the great markets, butcher and fish shops are walking distance. Vespa parking was free and nearby. Bus stops to Amalfi and Positano very close and the water taxis a short walk down to the beach. We did lots of walking in the valley just a short walk from the villa that can take you up to Bomerano and numerous other trail heads in the Path of the Gods. Overall, we are very fortunate and thankful to have spent our extended vacation and leave here and to have met such wonderful people. Grazie Mille.

Excellent location close to everything. House was beautiful and very clean. Francesca arranged transfers from Naples and a trip to Capri. Both were amazing. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Praiano.

Great holiday in luxurious accomodation

Luxurious accommodation with everything you need close to the beach, supermarkets and some great restaurants. Luca who met us on our arrival was very helpful even though we arrived later than expected and was always available if we needed him. The views from the terrace of the coastline were incredible. Beds were very comfortable and the apartment very clean. Communication with Francessca was always prompt abd helpful.

A piece of heaven on the Amalfi Coast

We stayed at Palace Rocco - Villa Sunshining in Love - for two weeks in June and July of this year. It would be nearly impossible to describe everything that was wonderful about the experience, but I will highlight a few of our favorites. 1. The villa itself - It was meticulously clean when we arrived. The rooms were lovely, spacious, and comfortable; this is no ordinary rental by any means. If you think the pictures are gorgeous, be aware that they are indeed accurate. Every room had a feeling of casual luxury - not stuffy and formal, but welcoming and special. 2. The outside living area - As wonderful as the inside of the villa was, we spent most of our time on the terrace which was filled with potted flowers and partially covered with an arbor of green leaves and blossoms. It was the perfect spot for a lazy breakfast, a family dinner, or a quiet nightcap. The view of the sea was amazing regardless of the time of day, and we were treated several times to the beauty of the moon rising over the water or a fireworks display from a boat celebrating a wedding at the restaurant below. Plan to spend much of your time outside if you rent this location. That said, because you are surrounded by lush greenery in the form of lemon trees and native plants, expect to deal with some insects. Citronella candles and spray and insect coils helped create a safe, bug-free space in the evenings. 3. The town of Praiano - It had a small, quaint downtown, beautiful churches, excellent restaurants, and a pretty sleepy vibe which was a nice contrast to the bustle and crowds of Positano and Amalfi. No matter how crazy our days were, whether from sightseeing, hiking, or shopping, we could count on Praiano being quiet and relaxing at the end of the day. 4. The people - Francesca was fabulous at preparing us for the arrival protocol and making arrangements for transportation and events. Luca did a great job of introducing us to everything about the house and the area and was always available to answer questions, give advice, or just ask how our stay was going. Chef Mario created a memorable five-course dinner for us our first week, even including fresh ingredients from his own garden. Definitely do this if you can; the food was fresh and plentiful, the cost reasonable considering the extent of the meal, and he did EVERYTHING - shopping, prepping, cooking, serving, and cleaning up. You won't regret staying here if you visit the Amalfi Coast; you may regret it if you don't.

Amazing Stay!

My family and I stayed at Palazzo Rocco for 10 nights and we had an amazing time. The villa is gorgeous - rooms are very spacious and each with its own bathroom. And the view is indescribable. We enjoyed many nights on the terrace overlooking the water. While there are many stairs, the beach is only about a 10 minute walk away. Lots of wonderful restaurants in the area and a market only about a 5 minute walk. But the best part of this stay was the help provided by Francesca. She helped to organize airport/train station transfers and day trips to several surrounding towns. She was completely at our disposal and helped make our stay in Praiano a trip we will never forget! I highly recommend staying at Palazzo Rocco for your holiday!

Exceeded Our Expectations!

The Rocco Palace is exquisite both inside and out! Breathtaking views of the coastal water lined with gorgeous blooming flowers throughout the property. Private rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Our guests were awestruck by the large windows and balcony offering a view from every floor. The kitchen fully accommodated our group of 9 so we were able to enjoy family meals outside on the patio as well as the dinner table. The owner, Francesca, was extremely helpful and made the booking process easy. Our house manager, Luca was available to assist in arranging transportation and was our go to source of information! We had the pleasure of staying at the villa for 7 days and thoroughly enjoyed every single second! I highly recommended Rocco Palace!!!

A beautiful Villa in a Great Location

We loved Praiano and this Villa. The house is large so there is plenty of room to spread out. The terrace has an amazing view of the coast line. The house does not overlook Positano but more the direction of Salerno. We loved how well the air conditioning worked and how dark the bedrooms were. It made for a wonderful nights sleep. We really loved Luca who checked us in and took very good care of us while we were there. We will all miss him.

Fantastico!

Our stay at Palace Rocco, Sunshine in Love (4 bedrooms) was amazing. The villa was beautiful and spacious, exactly as it appears in the pictures. The outdoor patio is huge with very comfortable furniture to lounge on and enjoy the spectacular view. The kitchen is well equipped and easily accessible from the patio for refills of limoncello spritzers. The bedrooms are comfortable and the views are amazing. I so enjoyed lying in bed at night watching the moon reflect on the water. The victorian furniture in the living was not comfortable, but we didn’t really care because we spent all our time on the patio. Francesca was helpful and very responsive to our questions. She provided the name of a company to transport us from Rome to Priano. She arranged for Chef Mario come in and cook a dinner for us at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this experience. Luca met us upon arrival and was very helpful for directions to the grocery store etc. Knowing that we would be tired from traveling, he had snacks and a bottle of prosecco chilling for us; a really nice touch. Luca also made arrangements for a boating day trip to Capri. Boating to the island was really fun. The chaos of busses, scooters, and way too many tourists in Capri, not so much. I am so glad we picked Praiano. There are many good restaurants. It’s a good spot for day trips to other places and tucked away from all the tourists. Our week at Palace Rocco was fantastico!
