I was booked in for four nights in Dec 23, on arrival however my partner and I found the mattress to be incredibly hard and uncomfortable. We stayed the one night and didn't sleep very well so elected to check out the following day and find a new place to stay. What I will say however is that the staff were all so friendly and polite and very understanding when describing the situation, they were even kind enough to issue me a refund for the remaining nights of our stay. The hotel is in a good location and the breakfast provided was great also!

Brilliant staff, good location
The hotel is in a good location. Despite being so close to old town, the toad is quite quiet. In fact, we didn't hear any outside noises from our room! All main sights and amenities in walking distance and close to public transport too. The room was very spacious but extremely outdated with not a lot of extras included (no teas /coffees or hairdryer for example.). The reception area is really nice and has a bar in which we were offered a free drink! The staff here are amazing and can't do enough for you. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok, quite basic. We had to leave at 4am and they packed us up a breakfast bag which was really thoughtful. Definitely recommend staying here.
