It was what I paid for. Clean, tidy, big enough for 4 easily probably more even though it was just me staying there. I would recommend to anyone who is looking to do the tourist thing instead of sitting around the apartment all day as there is so much to do and see in Prague

Excellent city centre location. 2min walk to the square. No air-conditioning or air circulation. Very uncomfortable with the 32°C heat. Windows opened but not practical due to lack of privacy and noise from basketball court. We made aware we would arrive for check-in in at 1100. We were then told the apartment will not be ready until 1500 so we returned at 1330 and was told it was ready. Communication could be better - staff could have emailed us to inform when the apartment would be ready. Overall, was a good experience.

roomy apartment but needs holder for shower head

It is awkward that you have to go to a different location to pick up keys and checkin. We had no water for first few days but the morning after we rang in the problem we had a plumber out who resolved the situation. Great location and apartment was fine. Pity they did not have a shower holder as had to hold the shower head to wash. Apartment was good and roomy

Apartment changed at last minute to somewhere less central than I booked which was a pain. A bit tatty. Laminate flooring coming adrift in places. Some lights didn't work. The promised "soaking tub" had no plug so I couldn't use it and the shower didn't work properly. Had all the faculties of an apartment - kettle, fridge, cooker, even a nice coffee machine but no tea or coffee provided and nowhere I could find to buy any. No toiletries except a small bar of soap. Was supposed to be a no smoking building but definitely smelled smoky both stale in the room and fresh in the corridors. Landing lights were on timers so was dark and a bit scary at night. I had to fumble around until I found the switch. Also full of noisy youngsters so not the most restful experience. Maybe my expectations were a bit high. On the plus side, the bed was comfy and the taxi pick up went well.

Long weekend in Prague

Stayed in a one bedroom Old Town Apartment on Jilska. The location is excellent in the Old Town and you can easily walk to many of the attractions or travel by tram (200m away). The apartment is very large and there are 7 single beds, all in space up a tight spiral staircase. 2 beds in an open plan area and 5 in the bedroom. The apartment is a little tired decoration wise and not spotlessly clean, but would be ideal for groups travelling together and represents excellent value for money. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Didn't make use of the kitchen /dining/lounge area, as we spent little time in the apartment other than sleeping. Would recommended as a great base to see Prague.

My father and I stayed at this hotel, but we were not aware that it is mostly reserved by large groups to celebrate bachelor parties. The check-in is at a different location, so we didn't have much interaction with the staff. Luckily, I reserved in advance a private pickup at the train station, so Antonio (our driver) was very helpful, and he took us to the location to check in and then to the apartment. He also alert us that the apartments are mostly reserved by groups to celebrate bachelor parties. Unfortunately, we didn't feel safe, and the groups do not get multiple keys to the apartment, so one night there was someone knocking very hard the main door at 2am, and it was very loud, so we couldn't sleep much. We wouldn't recommend this hotel for families, but I guess it is ok for young people since it is very central and near to all the bars. Unfortunately, we didn't have a nice experience here. The apartment is comfortable but it gets very hot and loud as well. There are signs that no noise is allow after 10pm, but since there is not staff or front desk at the apartments then people do not follow this rule much.

The apartment i booked wasn't available anymore when i arrived so they gave me an apartment in another building and another location, 10 minutes walk from the location i was supposed to stay at. the new apartment was very bad by all means!

Central, comfy and basic

We are just home from 4 nights stay here, the apartments are in the old town and we found them to be in a great position for sightseeing prague. Apartments are basic, but clean and lets face it you dont go on holiday to sit in apartment, apartment is for sleeping and showering. Prague is an amazing and vibrant city and we will return and we would stay in these apartments again. The only suggestion i would make is that the windows need upgraded, locks werent great and window glass is very thin

No hotel reception

Firstly - perfect location and the apartment was generally clean and the bed was so comfortable! (However the shower hook was broken so you had to hold the shower and it was very cold and no pressure - paying almost £100 I think the shower should be fully functioning) We booked this hotel very late at night after having to leave the first place we'd booked however on arrival there was no sign for the apartments so we had to go ask in a close by pub who gave us an address so we had to go across town by taxi and ended up at another hotel (I guess they own the apartments) to be told that there's no record of our booking due to their emails being turned off after 10:30pm. The hotel staff were very patient and helpful and did help us but it was not a great start - don't advertise 24 hour reception when there is not even a reception there! It should be much clearer.

Downsides: Nowhere on the booking it said we had to pick up the keys to the apartment in a different location, (hotel few miles away) so this made our arrival quite confusing and stressful. Condition of the flat was ok, but there was a very dirty sofa, socket taken apart, no warm water until I switched on a boiler (not quite obvious how to do it at first), peeling paint in a bathroom, main doors not possible to lock - just close shut, so this wasn't very safe. The location is excellent, as central as you can be, which means it is a bit noisy but it is understandable.

AMAZING DEAL

Wow... what a great find. I only put 3 for service because this is a self sufficient apartment in the center of Prague. Be aware, you must go to the Red and Blue hotel on the other side of the river to check in and get the keys. We were totally OK with that. Once in the apartment, we loved it. Entrance is from the courtyard of a restaurant; strange but totally fine. Beautiful high ceilings, separate bathroom, separate shower, kitchen/dining/living area and large bedroom with 4 beds. We only wish we had found it sooner so we could have stayed more than just 1 night.

Very hard to find and Noisy, but Nice

The hotel was very nice and in a wonderful location. It seemed pretty safe, although the town as a whole did not feel quite as safe. We enjoyed walking around the Old Town area. The problem is that it is very difficult to find and there is little parking available. You must pick up the key at one location and we asked the staff there about how to get to the apartment. The staff were friendly, but not very helpful regarding how to find the apartment. They showed us basically where it was on the map, but did not give very specific details, like that it is located in the courtyard of a restaurant/bar and that you must take your luggage through the middle of it and its patrons. This information is also not provide on the written information that is given to you at check-in. We ate at the restaurant in the courtyard and it was very good. One thing I found very funny is that quiet time is at 10 PM when the restaurant is open until 2 AM. Also, there was a lot of noise around the apartment and there is no AC, so sleeping was a little difficult. Finally, our apartment did not have a washer, despite it being shown in the online listing and on the listing information and was one of the big reasons for us picking this apartment over others that were similar. When we called to ask about it, the staff said that they would bring it in the morning, but they never did. The apartment was clean and comfortable and despite the few problems and noise, we enjoyed our stay there.

Zero Stars - Don't waste your time with this place

Read all of this! We did not stay at this hotel, but beause I was charged for it anyway, they sent me the survey. Bottom line is the description of the hotel left out a "small detail" until AFTER you paid for it. You have to go across town to check in and pick up the key, then travel to the hotel to stay. This was not in the "fine print" part of the listing. It cost more to do that in cab fare than the cost of the nights stay. You only find this out after paying, which I found terribly misleading at 10:30 at night. The facility is over a bar and there is no sign. I had an online chat with Hotels.com and the "robot" at the other end had no sympathy and was obviously not listening and reading off a script. I was not offered any type of compromise for the deliberate misinformation and we stayed at another hotel up the street. I was charged full price, which I will be disputing with Visa.

Avoid this Hotel even if its offered for Free!!

I would not recommend this place to any family!!! Horrible experience overall. Avoid this at any cost. This is basically a standalone apartment with no hotel personnel on the premise - no reception desk. No one cleaned our room for 3 days! There is no elevator-- we had to carry our luggage 4 flights of steep stairs. There is a restaurant underneath and the noise level is horrible all night long. They would not accept credit cards that were not embossed. They wanted a $200 additional security deposit even after we paid the entire bill up front. The hotel owners are clear across town and very very rude and unhelpful.

Great accessibility at Old Town Residence

My family and I stayed at Old Apartment for four nights. The place was big, clean, comfortable and had a very excellent access to city center and sights. There is an Albert market nearby which you can access by a five minute walk. The entrance to the apartment is behind a restaurant. For check-in, you have to go to other part of city (by taxi about 10 Euros, 300 CZK); they will also ask you to pay around 200 Euros for security deposit which was uncalled for. During your stay, if you ask anything as service from their office, they will charge you for sending the service (like new towels). Apparently, you have to prepare to see some stuff that you do not see elsewhere!

Huge space, excellent location, hard to get to

The room it self was perfect. Huge is an understatement. We booked the 2 bedroom and there were enough beds throughout to sleep 10 people comfortably. the layout was unique, and there was a roof top deck that had a beautiful view of Old Town rooftops. You really feel like your experiencing Old Town Prague here. The kitchen was huge. there are two table and chair sets in the apartment so all ten people could eat comfortably if you had that many people in your party. Some reviews have mentioned the noise from the courtyard bar - they were open till 2 am every night we were there, and I never heard any noise inside the apartment. And I was traveling with a very noise sensitive 4 month old. One negative is that there are a few flights of stairs. If you require an elevator this is not the place for you. Also, and I cannot stress this enough - if you are driving DO NOT stay here. There is literally nowhere to park. The closest parking was 2km away, and was 75 dollars (American) per DAY. Then there is the added inconvenience of having to pickup your keys at another location. The location really is NOT walking distance, especially if you have luggage - so you'll need to plan ahead for that.
