You can’t get better elsewhere

Very bad breakfast, they won’t even do a fry egg for you, no lift, tiny room, small windows, mattress was the only good thing in the room, bad customer service from staff, except a nice lady in reception at the start, street parking, not secured. I don’t recommend.

I spend one night here and booked this hotel based on reviews. However I was expecting better experience. Spider nets in corners could be cleaned at least time by time, water had a very light yellow coloring when filling the tub and no one on reception during check out to share my feedback. Breakfast was OK, I would prefer scrambled eggs instead of hard-boiled eggs.

Property was nice and we walked to a close by park and shops. Looks like it was remodeled recently. Although the beds were made and surfaces cleaned, the floors weren’t vacuumed. No air conditioning but window opens. However, right out our window was a tent with someone staying in it so we heard them talking late into the night. If the window was shut it was too hot and no circulation. Overall I would stay again.

A great place to stay

We have stayed twice in the Hotel Shato Gesson - first in October 2021 and again over the Christmas period 2021. The hotel is located in a quiet residential road with a park nearby. Hotel Shato Gesson is cosy, very clean with friendly and helpful staff. English is spoken and when emailing the hotel with enquiries, the response was quick and efficient. Our deluxe double room for both stays, was on the third floor and was spacious and airy with a balcony. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a walk-in shower. A buffet style continental breakfast was provided but as a surprise at Christmas, we were given cooked breakfast on two mornings, which was a lovely gesture. We used the hotel airport transfer service, for a nominal extra charge and this was convenient and efficient. We enjoyed both of our stays very much and would like to thank the proprietors for their personal attention and look forward to returning to the hotel on further visits. We have no hesitation in recommending Hotel Shato Gesson for a very pleasant stay.

Perfect!

I went to Prague with my boyfriend. We stayed there for a week. I would definitely recommend it! The room was not big - but it was really cozy. The bed was big and comfy, room clean, location quite and the breakfast big. They don't have their own parking, but you can find a spot at any time in the street (in front of the hotel). It was my bday when I stayed there - so I got complimentary wine and a card as a gift!

Nice clean and comfortable hotel.

Very clean and quiet hotel. Reception and breakfast room staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and comfortable. Hotel is a little remote, but the Metro is not far away.

Wi-Fi slow

The wi-fi was very slow. 5 Mbps download which is very slow. I was there for 3 days so had a good chance to check it many times. This should be improved. Everything else was very good.

It was very clean. Breakfast has all you need. Metro station very close by. Free Parking on the quiet street was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a clean place to stay while visiting Prague.

Very nice hotel. Obviously new. Everything is clean and comfortable. Little outside of the City Center, but quieter. Easy taxi or Uber to attractions. Walking distance through a park to nice restaurants.
