the hotel seems very tired with musty and murky smell. it is next to a busy road, you can hear the noice from the traffic even with window closed. the shower is so tiny and squeeze. the hair dryer didn't work, but fixed the next day. Breakfast is generous, but I got upset stomach after eating the first meal there. Staffs are friendly. But will not stay for the 2nd time.

The room was big and the hotel was central to most areas. The room itself wasn’t very clean, meaning the floor was very dirty. The shower was broken too and water sprayed everywhere when you turned it on.

Great little hotel with wonderful views of the city. Staff were friendly and nice. Breakfast was nice. Conveniently located by the metro station and easy to walk anywhere in the city. Will stay there again on our next trip to Prague.

One Step Above a High End Hostel. Think Motel 6

After reading other reviews I think one's experience in this hotel depends on what room you get. Plusses - 1. Great Breakfast!! 2. Met at door with Champaign! 3. Very nice staff. 4. Price was amazing for the location! 5. Coffee setup in room. Minuses - Marginal cleaning. Glassware was clean on first day but never washed again. Floors had not been cleaned in our room after the last (I hope) guest. I'm not picky but when there are crackers and hair on the floor it's a dead giveaway. Fresh towels daily. Hotel lobby and halls had a funky odor. Room smelled fine. Now...about the shower...the hand held shower head bracket on in the shower was broken. All showers had to be taken with the wand in your hand. The water temperature was an exercise in nimbleness as it would go from scalding to freezing in an instant testing your ability to simultaneously dodge the water stream while adjusting the temperature with shampoo in your hair all of this in a cruise ship size shower stall. All in all you get what you pay for.

Great low budget hotel

Given the cost this is an excellent VFM hotel. If you are expecting 4 star luxury you will probably be disappointed. But, the location is good, service is perfunctory as is the Czechia style, good breakfast, spacious and warm room with fridge and free water, comfortable bed and bedding, good toiletries. Areas it could be better: there is a slight, occasional sewer smell in the stair well (not in the room), the shower was a little small, limited English TV. Fantastic hotel for the cost.

Good enough but be wary of the breakfast....

Nice place, 4 stars in the 80's, 2 or 3 today. However, once I saw the caretaker lady handle the bread in her bare hands for breakfast buffet while I had that in my mouth, I no longer ate there..that's just gross. Very poor quality food and selection on that front but a decent place to stay central to all things.
