The Friday hotel is in an excellent location. The area is in a pedestrian zone, right near the main square and near the Natl Museum, historic Astronomical clock, Powder Gate, a grocery store, etc. The provided breakfast was outstanding and the desk persons were very friendly and helpful. The downside is that the carpets are simply filthy. Several large stains of I don't know what on our room floor as well as the hallways resembled something that had never been replaced since the 70s. The hallways were also very heavily stained and although vacuumed daily, still looked filthy. I never went barefoot in the room. All in all, it is a really nice property but definitely needs to be maintained better. Our AC was out for the entire 6 days we stayed. Again, a maintenance problem.

The breakfast was off the charts awesome. It was also great to have access to drinks all the time. The location was wonderful. Very central. My only small issues were the temperature of the room being very hot and we couldn't adjust it. We had to open a window to let some cool air in and therefore the street noise was worse. I'd stay there again though.
