Arrived late, dragging luggage while the front desk staff watched like we were invisible—no greeting, no help. I had requested a walk-in shower days earlier for an elderly relative and was promised it was handled. It wasn’t. The room had steps, no walk-in shower, and a putrid smell. The front desk said they couldn’t move us until noon… until I mentioned checking out and requesting a refund. Suddenly an “upgrade” appeared. Even that room didn’t have basic items like mugs. Although our experience started off terribly, Aron did his best to accommodate us and ultimately changed our minds about checking out. (Beware of stairs, not recommended for ppl with walking disabilities)

The location of the hotel is excellent! It’s close to everything and it’s great. The room is spacious, the breakfast is ok. For the cost could be better but I get it out of convenience. Would stay here again, and will recommend it to others.

It was great location for sightseeing. We were happy with both service and breakfast. About the room, it was spacious , clean and cozy, but it would be better if we could control the heater/ air-conditioner to adjust the room temperature. Because it was quite dry as the heater was on whole night. Other than that, it was really wonderful.

The hotel and value for money is very good. My biggest issue was the absolutely insane heat in the room! I was in room 101 and it is very reachable from the very busy side street so you can’t have the windows open unless you are in the room and awake as it’s easy for anyone on the street to access. This leads to the issue of the room being 1000 degrees with the heating even being switched off at the wall. Slept terribly as a result. Location is fantastic so rooms above would be perfect if you can live with the windows open and noise from the streets below or they indeed have aircon which I sadly didn’t. Just a shame really as service and the value for location and size of room was really good.

I was quite happy with my beautiful room that was on the second floor so very few steps involved as the lift goes to the third floor. The staff was super. They catered to my every request. There is free bubbly at the reception area at all times along with fruit and pastries. You can purchase small bottles of wine to take to your room for less that $2.50! The breakfast buffet is OUTSTANDING! Dozens of hot and cold food and beverages. The best I have ever encountered and I travel a lot! Ir’sin a beautiful historic building half way between the clock and Charles bridge. Very safe neighborhood with lots of shopping bar and restaurants. And one more shout out to the front Desk personnel! You made my visit extra special!

We were upgraded to an executive suite which was huge & beautiful. The bed was comfy, the storage space good. The bathroom was large. The staff was friendly & helpful and spoke good English. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Old Town so it was noisy at night with bar hoppers but not disturbing of our sleep.

I got the attic as a room :( wonder why they kept sending messages if I wanted to upgrade, lots of stairs to get to the room with no elevator access, the breakfast is not good they even ran out of water bottles so just mineral water to drink

We enjoyed our stay very much . Absolutely the perfect location for seeing the city , as easy walk to everywhere. Breakfast had many options including omelette if you ask . Nice bathroom area and shower. Lots of shopping , coffee houses , and restaurants nearby. Staff did understand and speak English , and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Dominican. The breakfast was fantastic and had excellent variety. I also enjoyed the location, just around the corner from the astronomical clock and only a 5-10 minute walk from Charles Bridge. We would definitely stay here again in the future

Junior suite with no fridge seems to make no sense. Big room, but not much in it. So it feels very impressive but then there isn’t even an electric plug next to each side of the bed (or a usb which seems standard these days) So mixed review. We still enjoyed it just seems very easy to fix some of these minor things which mean a lot to a traveler with different plug. Also: if you hang a do not disturb sign up… don’t you think that’s the one thing that couldn’t happen… “knock knock knock, housekeeping” at 8 in the morning? Well, not here. Again, minor stuff but it adds up and at 4 stars you start expecting that type of attention to “detail” to be a bit elevated too.

Excellent location down town, the staff is wonderful, helpful, and resourceful. I didn't try the ramen restaurant but it's helpful to know it's there - because I saw that first when locating the hotel. Safe location, SUPER easy access to the bridge, clock, shopping, etc. I walked from the train station in 15 min. Highly recommend. I would stay there again.
