Charming hotel - our room was large and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed the Imperial restaurant. Hotel was walkable and central to Old Town. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

Good hotel, clean but breakfast to be improved

Hotel was great generally and in a superb location. The rooms were pleasant, clean and the turn down service was always appreciated. Our only improvement would be the breakfast as the buffet service felt a little canteen like. On our first morning no one told us what the process or offer was and the a la carte breakfast was only shown to us after we asked. There wasn’t the biggest offering available

It is fancy hotel but the cost is manageable.walking distance to town square and all main attractions.There is no need to take public transport It is also a mile from Praha train station . Breakfast are included which are high quality food in Cafe Imperial downstairs. Food are very delicious, high quality.If budget can accomodate, stay here for it is part of the Prague experience.!A historical hotel

Not as expected

We chose this hotel because it was advertised as a five-star experience, and I was celebrating my 30th birthday, so we wanted something a little special. Unfortunately, it didn’t really live up to five-star standards. Usually, five-star hotels wow their guests and add touches that make the stay memorable. Other than a 15% discount offered on a future booking because it was my birthday, there were no extras or gestures to mark the occasion – which was a bit underwhelming. Even the minibar wasn’t complimentary, not even bottled water, which you’d normally expect from a hotel of this calibre. The breakfast was fine but very average, and not what you’d anticipate from a five-star hotel. The buffet was small, and it seemed like some guests were able to order food to their tables, but this wasn’t explained or offered to us. The gym was also disappointing: small, dated equipment, and one of the strength machines was missing a part, making it unusable. On a more basic level, even the bedding didn’t feel luxurious – the pillows and duvets weren’t down, which again, just took away from the sense of indulgence we were expecting. Most concerning of all, a member of staff accidentally let themselves into our room, carrying a duvet that was meant for another guest. It was unsettling to have someone come in, especially in a five-star hotel where you expect high standards of professionalism and privacy
